New to the area and needed to find a new barber. I found this place in Shawnee Hills with a sign that said walk-ins welcome. The shop is a converted old house with plenty of parking in the rear. Stopped in on a cold Saturday morning and was welcomed by 3 barbers/stylists that were busy with their customers. They told me to wait and one of them would be able to help soon. The waiting area is a couple of comfortable couches with plenty of magazines and newspapers to keep you busy. I didn’t get to look at any of the stuff because within Five minutes I was in Debra’s chair. Debra gave me the long history of the shop and Shawnee Hills as she cut my hair. The entire experience was so comfortable on the cold Saturday morning that I knew right then I would be back as a regular. Then to top everything off, the final step in the hair cut was a nice hot towel on the back of the neck. Wow, nice way to end the haircut and start the day.
