P & T Nails Bar

Extremely negative experience. The positive thing, it’s a lovely looking salon. Made a reservation for 3 people to have pedicures at 1:30PM. We arrived at 1:25PM and were asked to get into the pedicure seats. They started to fill the bowls and asked us to put our feet in it. One of us realized after putting our toenails in it that there were nail clippings all in the bowl. We immediately asked the manager if they had been sanitized and he initially said no, then said yes. They sanitized them and filled them up again, and we waiting… And waited… At 2:25PM we got up and asked what was going on, we had our feet soaking for 55 minutes and no one had come over! We finally just said we have to go, and got up to leave. They didn’t even apologize to us. After we got in the car the manager decided to follow us out and try to come up to us… Very creepy. Overall, find another nail salon — this one isn’t even worth one star!

This place is perfect; good atmosphere, friendly and excellent service, and a gel manicure that actually lasted 14 days! I work in a kitchen and constantly are chipping my nails but the gel manicure I received from Tiffany was so good I had to remove the nail polish after two weeks because we were going to a wedding and the polish color didn’t match my dress.
It was Tiffany’s first day but she was very sweet, personable and gave a killer foot/​leg massage.
I would definitely recommend coming here to anyone who lives in the area.

I’ve been going to this salon for over a year and have had Kim as a nail tech, she is amazing. However, ever since David and Tina took over management and it became P & T Nail the environment has become hostile between the employees, so much so that my nail tech quit! He treats his employees with no respect and always throws around the phrase «I’m the boss», disgusting! I will not be going back any longer as I simply do not want to support a manager that treats his employees, the ones that make the money!, in this fashion. There are many positives in this salon, it is clean and beautiful, however, I simply cannot put my hard earned money towards an establishment that is run by such an ogre!

Honestly all of the reviews I’ve read are spot on. All of the women who have done my nails and toes have been fantastic! The design of the salon is beautiful and it is very clean. I can’t complain at all. My issue is with the double booking and then the way the owner treats his employees.
I have been a client of a Kim for a while now. She is a lovely woman and she does a great job. My last appointment I had called in, a woman answered and took the information and told me I was all set for x time on x day. I show up on the day of my appointment and Kim is booked, I’m not in the computer. Fine it happens so no big deal, but I’ve seen it happen a few times before to other clients. They put me in with another woman which is fine as they all do good work. All is good or so you would think. All of a sudden the owner is yelling at Kim and while I have no idea what he was saying I could tell from the tone that it was not pleasant. It was so rude and disrespectful and very uncomfortable for everyone in the salon. It worked out for a little while after this appointment, the owner apologized to me, but I’ve since found out it’s happened again and Kim has left.
I will not go back and I will not recommend that anyone go to this salon where an employer verbally abuses his employees and has no respect for them at all. My money will be better spent elsewhere.

I have been going to this salon since they opened, when they were called Lux. The technicians that work here are great and the place is clean. I really liked going there up until I started pre booking my next appointments. I would make an appointment with Kim and I would get someone else. Granted, everyone is good, but when you request someone, that’s who you expect to see. Today I was there having my bi-​weekly gel manicure and the owner and Kim, my technician, got in a quarrel over their appointment book. She continued to do my nails while this guy was REALLY YELLING at her. He went in the front to smoke a cigarette (classy in front of your would-​be spa) and then returned to yell at her again! Then they both wanted ME to take sides! Excuse me? Is this customer service? There were plenty of clients there on a Friday evening who witnessed it. I have spent quite a bit of money at this place since they opened, and since the new owner took over. I brought my family there and have referred my friends. I feel so disgusted by the display today. I will not give my hard earned money to a business owner who treats his employees so poorly and has complete disregard for his clients. I am so incredibly disappointed.

I loved this place when it was Lux Nail Bar. The staff was absolutely wonderful. I recently visited after they changed ownership and now I feel like I am constantly being pressured to add services. I spend the entire time saying «no, thank you» to offers of a multiple of services (pedi, eyebrow wax) and it’s no longer a relaxing place. My nail tech always does an amazing job and I love the result, but I miss the old management. I feel bad for the techs who now seem under pressure to get their clients to pay for additional services. I also heard that if I use a credit card, the fee for the shop to process a card is taken out of the tech’s tip. I hope that’s not true, because that’s just not right!

I was going to P & T back when it was Lux Nails. I have gone twice in the past month while it has been under new management. Most of the staff seems the same but the environment is very different. It is honestly like they are trying to sell you a car. I had to politely decline a gel manicure three times and a pedicure twice. Also while I was getting my nails done another employee was standing over the nail tech’s shoulder which I found to be annoying. After my manicure, which the girl did do a great job on, I was drying my nails and another employee came over and asked if I was almost done. This made me feel rushed which I did not like. She then applied drying oil drops to my nails and told me I could leave in 2 minutes. This is really not the type of nail salon experience I am personally looking for. I like to go and get my nails done and relax and not feel like someone is trying to sell me something and then push me out the door. I was very disappointed in how this place has changed and I will not be back.

My sister in law and I went here for a post winter «woman-​scaping» LOL. I was tired of going to my usual perfectly acceptable but rather run down place up the street in Brockton, and searched Unilocal for something more upscale but not ridiculous like at a hair salon. Lux Nails/​P & T nails is it! We were warmly greeted and picked our colors from a giant wall o’ colors. The design of the place is very soothing, a Tuscan terra cotta color on the walls, and the mani «bars» look so cool and clean.
We were seated next to each other for a most thorough and relaxing pedi. As others have mentioned they use hot stones, do a nice massage, and wrap hot towels around your legs and feet. After that we had our gel manis and a little mini massage for neck and shoulders.
I also got my brows waxed (she noticed I needed it!). The ladies were super friendly and professional. You can put your tip on the credit card (some places pressure you to use cash for the tip), and its nice because someone else (the nice gentleman at the register) runs your card so there isn’t «pressure» to tip, but of course since the service was so good I probably tipped more!
My pedi, gel mani and brow/​lip wax were $ 80. I will go back here most definitely, It’s like a mini spa experience without the spa pricing.

Alright. We planned a spa babyshower for a friend and decided to go in here as a part of it a gang of 7 girls. The board outside could be confusing though. It reads Lux Salon whereas their website and Unilocal page says P & T Nails. Wonder why? Nevertheless, the outside could be so deceiving but trust me it’s magical inside. They greet you with that wonderful smiles and already make you feel nice. We had booked the pedicure lounge in advance since we were a group. No points for guessing the continuous chatter that went on for the next 1&half hour. But c’mon what did you expect. The staff did an amazing job. First a hot water wash and then cream. Hot stones came with the basic package and that’s not common in other salons. So, as Unilocalers previously said, that was a perk. The hot towel wrap and the massage all in all a pampering to the dot. They even offered us free water and beverages. We returned home dancing a ’ happy feet’ ! I would totally go there again even if it is a 20 min drive from my place.

Wow, what a gem! I’m so glad I found this place! So clean and so professional. The place is really nice inside and the pedicure section is closed off so you don’t walk into a bunch of foot sinks. The manicure section is set up like a bar which is pretty cool. The lady that did my nails did a great job on the pedicure (extra long foot massage which is my favorite thing ever). She gave me a nice shoulder rub before the manicure, which was such a nice touch. Really made it feel like a spa experience.
This is the most sanitary salon I’ve seen in a long time. Fresh nail utensils for every customer and clean pedicure stations.
$ 60 for a shellac mani and a pedi is totally reasonable in terms of price.
Great experience overall, I can’t wait to go back!

Kim was really nice. I liked the warming mitts and how the place is set up. Stations are bar hight. Pedicure stations look great. They were super friendly and offered me bottled water. My 5 year old was with me and sat quietly watching a movie on his iPad with headphones on and was offered a juice box. It was about $ 5 more than I usually pay but more of a spa like experience. They give you a shoulder and neck massage while the gel wrap is on. My nails came out nice. She cut them a little short but they are all even. It was very clean and they use new nail files, etc on each customer. If in the area I will go back again.

My mom and I got mani/​pedis here today and it was great. Very attentive and thoughtful service in a comfortable environment, looks much nicer than a typical nail salon. The chairs for the pedicure stations are very comfortable and don’t have that awkward massage feature that never seems to work right. The other highlight was the neck/​back massage during the manicure. I will definitely be coming here again.

I went there today because I had a gift certificate so I decided to get a manicure. I like the way the place was set up like a bar. It was very clean and they were very nice I will definitely come back.

Went to Lux Nails yesterday due to the five-​star reviews and Unilocal didn’t let me down. The receptionist and the nail tech were both very sweet, the salon itself is well decorated and clean, and the location is great. I got a gel manicure, which included a shoulder massage, these hand warmer devices, as well as the full nail service. She did an awesome job and the «bar» seating turned out to be very comfortable. The price was $ 30, a bit more than I’m used to paying for gel manicures ($ 23 – 25). That said, my nails look beautiful and I’ll definitely return if the polish lasts.

My sister-​in-​law and I decided to treat ourselves a couple of weeks ago to a mani/​pedi, when she told me about Lux. She had seen their New Customer Special on Facebook, and suggested we make an appointment. We were able to get one for that night! Our girls were amazing. The hot stone massage on our legs and the hot foot wraps were absolute heaven. I must admit, I thought the nail bar was going to be uncomfortable, but soon realized it was quite comfortable. I have a bad wrist, so whenever I get a mani I look forward to the hand massage, and I was not disappointed! I especially loved the back and shoulder massage at the end of my mani while my nails were drying! I would recomend Lux to everyone in the area, it’s totally worth the short drive up 95!
My only slight complaint is that I wish they had a menu online of the prices of their services. But they are very new, so hopefully in time! :-)

I just moved to the area and was dying to find a new salon that was good and wasn’t super expensive. I saw them on Facebook and liked them. On Monday, I noticed that they were giving away free manicures for a Patriots win and if you got a gel they would deduct the normal price of a manicure from the gel price. Awesome. I called Monday and got an appointment for Tuesday. I arrived 5 minutes early and I was greeted and asked if I wanted a drink (never had that anywhere else). I was brought over the gel colors (all awesome. and good variety) I chose my color and I was seated. It was really busy so they were a little slow/​distracted but this was because of the special so I totally understand. They gave me a shoulder massage and warming gloves and they used LED lights! My gels look awesome, no bubbles! Looks like I found my new nail salon! Totally recommend

Agree on the five star reviews here! Got a mani-​pedi today and received the $ 30 promo offer for both (usually $ 45 total). Hot towels wrapped around feet during part of pedi (simple thing, but blissful), hot rocks as standard service, great calf/​foot massage, and nice back massage with mani. Friendly staff and upscale atmosphere. Not your typical nail salon, more of a spa décor.
And, as should be expected, nails look great :) Extensive polish selection.

Fantastic nail salon! I must have driven by this place a hundred times and never noticed it, but a special popped up on Facebook so I figured I’d give it a try. I’m glad I did.
First off, the décor is beautiful. Its sort of dim lighting, but very relaxed. Lots of color options to choose from, and everyone is very friendly the second you walk in the door. The pedicure chairs are NOT massage chairs, but they are still really comfortable. I just sort of sunk in and relaxed while I was treated to a excellent pedicure. Also, having the employees offering free coffee, water or tea is a really nice touch.
The nail bar for the manicures seemed a little awkward at first, but it’s not bad. It sort of lets you talk to your neighbors if you want to. I thought my nail tech did a superb job. Usually when I get a manicure, my nails are chipped within a day or two… but no chips yet. Very happy with the service, and I know where to go now when I need some me-​time
