Specialties
Act4Murder is an experienced professional murder mystery troupe. We have been delighting audiences with our performances of original, comedic murder mysteries for dinner theater in Northwest Florida since 2003. The shows are written, directed and produced by Paula Hilton, a member of Mystery Writers of America and an experienced comedy writer. With almost 30 shows to select from, you’re guaranteed to find a theme that is just perfect for your special event!
Act4Murder performers are experienced actors with a flair for comedy and a love of dinner theater. The shows are divided into multiple scenes that are performed during the serving of a meal (typically, salad, entrée and dessert) around the tables where the patrons are dining. No stage or special set is required. You provide the performance area and delicious meal, ACT4MURDER provides the rest!
History
Established in 2003.
Act4Murder was created by Paula Hilton, who moved to Northwest Florida from Northern California with vast experience as a murder mystery actress and writer. At the time, there was no other murder mystery dinner theater troupe in existence in Northwest Florida, and she had written five shows that were in production in California, so decided to start up her own company. Since then, Act4Murder has performed Ms. Hilton’s 28 original comedies almost 400 times at venues from Panama City to Pensacola, as well as in Montgomery, Burmingham, Enterprise and Tallahassee. In addition to their public shows, Act4Murder gives back to their community through fundraisers, donated shows, and volunteering for community events.
