I believe in a collaborative style of counseling where we work together as a team to meet your goals. I help you set the goals that are most important to you, and ask for honest feedback during our sessions to be sure you feel you are being understood. In session I try to create an environment that is less uncomfortable and unnatural and more like a helpful, honest, yet professional alliance. Minneapolis & southwest suburbs!

Stacey holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Science in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota, and she is a Certified Child Life Specialist. Stacey has over 20 years experience working with children and families in both medical and non-​medical settings. Stacey completed her practicum work with couples, and also facilitated grief and medical support groups for children and adults. She has been married for 24 years and has two teenage children and a dog!
