H&R Block

Stopped in to get a «second look» based on impressive tv ads. Receptionist was nice, answered a couple of questions then asked me to wait for agent who was finishing up with someone. When agent was free and came out, he did not even acknowledge my presence. Receptionist was explaining my questions and the guy made zero effort to greet me, offer his assistance or show any interest. I was the only person there, his other client was gone. Would not go back.
The next day I had a completely different experience at the Willoughby office, where I was greeted, advised how long I would need to wait, then, greeted by the agent, walked back to his desk… he was professional, gave great advice and showed genuine interest. It was night and day between the two locations.

I have been using H&R block for 5 years since graduating college. My company moves me every 2 years for work around the country. Usually a great experience! This was the worst experience I think I have ever had from a customer service perspective. Took me me in 45 min after the appointment, was answering phone calls and having prolonged 10 min conversations with me right there. Do yourself a favor and visit a different tax service establishment.
