Days Inn Seymour

The room smelled horrible. The bedding appeared to be clean. The furnishings were stained and dirty. The air conditioner was very noisy. Parking lot lighting was dim and the parking lot was dirty. It was the only available room in the area at 2am when we arrived. We may never get the odor out of our clothing… Stay away, you have been warned…

Grossssssssssss. The balcony is tilted and cannot be structurally sound. The toilet seat was yellow. The walls had multiple holes. The bathroom wall was falling away from the floor leaving a hole. My sheets were stained. The fan in the bathroom sounded like it eats small children. I just. Can’t. Seriously. Grossssssssssss.

PLEASE DON’T STAY HERE!!! My daughter and I had been driving 11 hours straight and it was 1:30 AM we were so tired. When we first got to the room my daughter immediately ran out because it smelled so horrible. Second of all it was completely filthy. There were gummy bears under the bed, and pee caked on the toilet seat! Not only that, but during the middle of the night my daughter fell off the bed. I told her to wake up when it was morning, and when she did, there was a USED NEEDLE THERE! Seriously that was it. My daughter could’ve gotten seriously sick. That is why I recommend you do not stay here, for you and your children’s own safety.

I am no stranger to a cheap hotel, all I need is a quiet (ish) location and a fairly clean room. This hotel was neither. I was driving across the country and stopped around 3am, dead tired. The lady at the desk was pleasant enough, I can’t complain about her. However, when I walked into the room I heard loud noises coming from the fridge. The fan had gone out. No big deal, I’m just going to sleep and getting back on the road. The room was very hot, I turned on the A/​C and it was blowing Luke warm air, but I’m dead tired and it’s chilly outside so I just used the fan. I go to sleep immediately. In the morning I go to the bathroom, gag. I’m about to do the morning routine and I notice urine CAKED on the seat. Caked! No morning routine here. I start the shower and am about to turn on the coffee maker, but it’s filthy. I didn’t even bother with it. Oh, the wi-​fi was constantly dropping, at this point I only checked so that I could give a thorough review. All I asked for was a cheap ($ 49.00 in this case), clean room that I am usually afforded with Day’s Inn, but that wasn’t the case with this location. The room was in dire need of upgrading and corrective maintenance.
