Just left and I would not recommend this place. We arrived at 6:30. Place was ½ full. We only ordered two pizzas. After 45 minutes of waiting we asked for a manager to see what had happened. Five minutes later they arrived with the two 12 inch pizzas. The manager stated the ticket went In at 6:40 and maybe some people from the bar were ordering. It took almost an hour to get our food. I would be embarrassed if this was my restaurant. UPDATE: Posted this same review on their Facebook page in the review section and was harassed by staff and a few others for exited sing my opinion. I stopped in Friday night to have some wings and a pie. I was with the wife and she had a pie and soda as well. They make only a small pies but they are delicious! Only problem is this place is not like a normal pizza shop. A pizza shop you’re in and out in 45mins with a nice sit down meal. The waitress staff is on top of things and the cook is always cooking! This place takes an 1hr to 1&½hrs like it did friday. Either your waiting for a table and when your waiting you witness people waving down waitresses to pay. But nobody is around! Then it takes almost 1hr to make a small pie? What? I have things to do! I would recommend take out only. Unless your going to go drink and hang out for the night. Not a good place just to grab dinner.

Went to see a band here that I used to see in NJ the Nerds! Very cool. Pizza was delicious! Had one with meatballs, came out piping hot! Very cool place!

This was my first time here and most likely my last. I went with my husband, daughter and her boyfriend and it was 5:00pm on a Saturday. No one in the restaurant, which always make me wonder. We had to seat ourselves and the wait staff didn’t come over for about 10 minutes. The two waitresses were busy chatting at the register. She finally came over and although pleasant enough, not very attentive. It took her yet another 15 minutes to come back to take the order. The menu is very limited… pizza and wings so 15 minutes was very excessive, but again, chatting with the other staff. When she took the order, it was for wings and two pizzas. Well, the wings came, but they came with an extra item… HAIR and not one strand, but several. I had to ask the bartender to get the manager, who replaced the wings, but told us that it was just in the sauce… I guess that made it better for her??? Not sure, but I had to say, I was not happy when the bill came as I was charged for the wings… I know if I was the manager, that won’t happen, but again, this place seems very sloppy. The dinner is served on paper plates and the pizza was ok, but after the hair experience, I won’t be visiting. It also took me going to the waitress to get the check and she never came back after dropping it off. There was only 2 other tables there and this time, she was busy chatting the bar staff up. I will never go back, but will encourage those who do, to, check your food carefully or only go for drinks because how hard is that to get wrong?

The pizza was just ok. The wings are ridiculously expensive! Over all… when they have a good band playing… it is totally worth it! Fun place to go and hang with friends.

Located in a strip mall right off of route 8 in Seymour, CT. I’m a born and bred New Yorker and we pride ourselves as the pizza Capitol of the world. Let me say American Pie is an oasis in a sea of awful pizza as you get further and further away from the city. Their pizza was outstanding. I had a few slices of regular cheese pizza and want more now. Beer served nice and cold. Great attention from the staff. Place gets busy. They have a stage and good entertainment. Large screen tvs show sporting events. I’ll definitely be back.

Compared to the first few times I’ve dined in this establishment, this visit was far improved. Tonight my BFF and I were greeted with smiles and a couple ‘hi how are ya’s’ we were given a beer menu as opposed to telling us it was up at the bar as we always were previously. Our first time here it took 4 pizzas for it to be the correct one and we waited about 30 minutes for each pizza. This time our drinks and appetizer wings were prompt and delicious and our pizzas quickly followed hot and yummy! Over all, a pleasant experience. My bestie and I were pleased with our choice for our Friday night endeavor.

Very spacious. Great wings and pizza. Waitress was absolutely top notch. Had a great time with a large group and were catered too in every way. Awesome place. One suggestion would be to expand the menu only food available is wings and pizza

Tried American Pie and Pub for the first time after it opened a few weeks earlier. I went on a Tuesday evening and there was a small crowd that slightly grew for karaōke. The waitress was very friendly and visited often. The gluten free pizza and the regular pizza was surprisingly good. The prices were decent and the atmosphere was pleasant for a pizza/bar. I would suggest trying it.

Good pizza, thin crispy crust. Lots of draft choices. Pizza, wings, salad and beer. A lot of topping choices nothing for kids, no other menu items. Good service.

Saturday night walked in, place was empty aside from folks singing Karaōke in the bar. There was almost as many people outside on motorcycles as inside. I heard the pizza is lousy anyway so no need to come back. probably months away from closing down

Nothing really special. The hot oil pizza was okay and the wedge salad was just okay too. Wouldn’t come back again to eat.

This place has certainly changed since the days of it being a CVS. The atmosphere is very nice. Very open and includes a stage for live music. The inside is large enough to accommodate a lot of customers, but the menu is small. They only offer one form of salad, 12″ inch pizza, and wings(in 3 flavors: buffalo, barbecue, and teriyaki). The food was really good. The wings were hot, juicy, and had great sauces. The pizza was thin and crispy and clearly made with very fresh ingredients. The pizza was one of the best I’ve had in the area. It’s hard to find a thin pizza in the valley. I’ve had a good experience, but I wish there were more food options. I probably won’t come too often because of the lack of food choices, but I would definitely come for a show. A tip I would give: advertise what bands are coming so I know who’s playing and when. I’ll definitely come again.

The place is friendly and the beer is ice cold. We ordered the wing of the day and they are better than any I’ve had in the past, the pizza was one of the best I’ve had. I would like to see a larger choice of wings but the ones so far are outstanding. The new teriyaki wings are much better than the ones they had in the first week. The waitresses are all perky and extremely friendly. I think I found a new place for dinner and hopefully a place to watch football. The owner and manager seen to care about what the customers think.
