Our dough is made fresh each day with the best flour and each pizza is hand tossed. Our thin dough is topped first, with the best grade Mozzarella cheese, and then with our home made, hand crushed plum tomato sauce made from imported San Marzano tomatoes. Lastly, we finish the pie with extra virgin olive oil. Each pizza is baked on hot stones and cooked to a crisp, delicious perfection. The outcome of this process is a thin, lightly topped, fragrant pie. From the Margherita Pizza with its Fresh Mozzarella and Basil leaves to the Italiana with Prosciutto Di Parma, Gorgonzola cheese and Arugula there is a taste of Italy in every bite.
We also offer 100% Whole Wheat Pizza Crust, Glutn Free Pizza Crust and Vegan Cheese.
History
Established in 2007.
Our original location started one block from the Italian Market, in Philadelphia. The idea behind our award winning, Pizzeria; to offer a traditional pizza in an area saturated with Americanized Pizza. To most we are considered a Gourmet Pizzeria; we consider ourselves what Pizza was meant to be.
We offer Neapolitan Style Pizza.
