Gloucester County College is a comprehensive, co-​educational, two-​year college sponsored by the residents of Gloucester County through the Board of Chosen Freeholders. The College is an accredited member of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. I went here from 2008 – 2010. I studied Education. A lot of people look down on GCC or community college in general. But I really enjoyed my time here. They had a lot of different options as far has classes go (and when they’re offered). The only issue, which I’ve found to be at most schools, is that the education advisors are few and sparse between. I guess they’re just understaffed in that area.
I always thought the campus was nice. The library was a bit out dated but it did the job. There were so many different places to hang in between classes and I didn’t think I had to walk too far from the parking lot to classes.
It’s nice to see they’re teamed up with Rowan now, too. I wish they had that when I went there. I also had a lot of great professors when I went here! Plus they offered online classes– always great!
