Jayell Ranch

We had an awesome time at Jayell Ranch. I highly suggest the horse ride and zip line combo. Each of Jason, Carrie and PK took great care of us and made our trip fantastic. The guided horse rides were the best, however. Amazing views, well cared for horses and just a great day overall. Would definitely come back.

What a nice bunch of people that work there. The horses seem like they are well taken care of. We did the package where you go for a horse ride and then zip lining. The horse ride was pretty long and exceeded my expectations, definitely worth the money. We did zip lining with PK and a wonderful lady (whom I didn’t catch her name), they were both funny and attentive. I definitely recommend going there. Also don’t forget to tip them on the way out (noticed some people just ignored the tip jar even though they clearly had a great time like myself)!

Had a great time at the ranch today. We did the horseback ride and the zip line. We even got to carry a piglet as a bonus!
Our guides were fun (Cristoff, Kary, and Perkins for the Zipline and Matt for the horseback ride).
Horseride: Beautiful mountain views towards the middle of the ride. It had been raining the night before so the trail was muddy and the ride was slow. Wish I could’ve gone a bit faster. I would suggest to go when the weather is better to enjoy the ride better (duh!, but it was our last day)
Zipline: The best part of the day! It was my first time and I loved it! The guides made it extremely fun and helped us. It was easy to let go and show our wild side! I would suggest doing the 6-​zip since the 3-​zip is short. It was fun for a first timer but I was left with the urge to keep going!

Ally our horseback riding guide was amazing and created a fantastic experience for us while riding! She was full of riding tips and information on horses and overall was great and helped us stay safe!!! Thanks to her will be coming back with the rest of the family

My husband and two kids (ages 8 and 11) rode horses. We do not have experience riding. Being the weekend after Thanksgiving it was quite busy. We ended up paying Friday afternoon but going back Saturday morning and there was no wait! Our guide, Matthew, was great! My son, 8, was the first in line and he has no experience with horses. He loved it! Matthew even showed him how to make his horse, Comanche, trot a little faster. My husband and I would have loved to do the zip lining but the kids didn’t want to. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

We came up to Gatlinburg for a family vacation. When looking up things to do we came across this ranch. We did the Ziplining and atv ride. 6 of us total (my family of 4 plus my mom and her boyfriend).
My son has never Zip lined was nervous when we got to the first line. Kari and Crisoff where great. They made my son feel comfortable. They where awesome to talk too, fully and trustworthy.
My kids have spent the last 2 days saying «roots, rocks and Slippery spots» but I love it.
With the atv ride. The first one got cut short do to my moms boyfriend goofing off and getting hurt. The staff was quick to respond and get him help (he only dislocated his finger). The staff was supper supportive through it all. They gave my family of 4 a free ride since we had to leave early in the ride. My kids had a blast. My daughter was nervous to ride alone but they made sure she knew what she was doing before we left. We had Red and (I hate to say) but I can’t remember his name. Awesome guys. Took us on a extra tour too.
Will definitely be coming back to Jayell Ranch next time we are this way.

Kerry and Kristian were great guides. I especially love Kerry she helped calm me down. It was my first time zip and I’m terrified of heights. I also went horse back riding it was absolutely amazing.

We had the best time today. Red, our guide was awesome. He was very patient with us since we were new to riding ATV’s. Highly recommend, it’s a memory that will last forever in our family.

Very enjoyable experience here. Met my expectations. Could have been a little more fun but I am sure they have to keep it tame for liability purposes and the varied rider skill levels.

We had an amazing time at Jayell Ranch! We were in Gatlinburg for our Honeymoon & wanted some thrills! We did the ATVs and the 6 line ziplines! Chris & Kenny were our guides and so funny & friendly! What great memories!

Wonderful time today! Great deal for 3 zip lines and hour long horseback riding guided tour. Found coupon for $ 49.99 to do both (per person). The staff was friendly and guided you through each step. Definitely recommend!

My boyfriend, his two sons (age 6 and 10), and myself went horseback riding and LOVED IT! All 3 of them had never done it before, so they were a bit nervous. The guide, Dave, was very friendly and paid close attention to the kids. By the end of the ride, the 6-​year-​old was kicking his horse and making him trot! The views were beautiful and the horses were so well-​trained that I wasn’t nervous at all. The kids wanted to go again the next day because they loved it so much.
The only negative was that the sign up and registration in the BLAZING HOT office took entirely too long. You can complete a waiver online beforehand (which I would suggest) but I wish they would let you book online as well so you could avoid the office time. However, after that was finally taken care of we walked right up to the stables and were on our horses within 10 minutes. Overall, a great experience! I had to cut my trip short, but the boys may return to do some of the other activities!

combo of horseback riding and zipline $ 49 which we thought was a good value.
we really enjoyed it. i thought the zip line would be longer and it was only 3 of them gradually increases in height and length.
they do have someone taking photos of your time there and you can buy a disk of all your pictures at the end. $ 35 for 2 activities I thought was more than reasonable for the great candid shots and posed ones as well.
they do mention tipping several times. since I was unaware of this and did not bring cash.
our horse guide was Richard, he was very nice and funny.
i wish the activities were longer.
I did, however, get a little angry that i believed we would be getting a $ 5 discount on the combo package for signing the waiver online as advertised on their website. but was told its one or the other. which i dont understand and will be emailing them about this issue, as I believe they owe me $ 10 since that is what i budgeted for this activity.

Zip lining was fun. But way to many people in our group. Do not go horseback riding my friends. Terrible experience. Especially in summer. The road needs to be paved, my car almost FLIPPED turning up it. Staying in the blazing heat is not with it. Guy who ran horseback was disorganized. We waited forever and ended up getting some money back. My favorite part was the lemon-​aid!

Great adventure with «Snake, Troop & Coffee»
We had looked this ranch up online and it had great reviews on TripAdvisor, so we decided to give it a try. There were seven of us and most of us did the combo which had zipline, horseback riding and ATV. All employees were very nice and some of the guide made the activity very fun. Ziplining was great even for some of us that stay they behind, employees made sure we all had a good time. Troop and Snake, the guide nicknames for zipline, were great and fun. The most fun was the ATV adventure with Coffee, our guide nickname. He was so funny and made sure we had a great time. The horseback riding was just ok. We bought the DVD with all our pictures, the lady that took pictures did an amazing job. Overall experience unforgettable. We will be sure to come back on our next visit.

This place was great and we are so happy we came here. The whole staff was friendly, nice, and everyone made us laugh. We were a party of 7 and we did zip lining, ATV rides, and horseback riding. Our tour guide for the zip lines was snake and troop. The zip lines were so fun and thrilling. The ATV rides was really the best and the most interesting. We went a day that rain fall happened and it was muddy and dirty, just how we wanted it. Our tour guide was called Coffee and he really made the ATV rides amazing. If you decide to do the ATV tour and you want to have the best time, you MUST ask for Coffee. The horseback riding was relaxing and had beautiful views.

My friends and I were visiting the area in March and went to Jayell to zipline initially. When we got there we also decided to do an ATV trail ride. Adam and Abe took us ziplining. They were awesome. Very funny and super accommodating as we had a first timer with us.
Josh was our ATV guide and we had a great time! He led us through the trails, let us play in the mud, and was very conscientious of the whole group, new and experienced riders.
We had so much fun we left for lunch and came back for another round of ziplines and four wheeling that afternoon.
I left town the next morning, but on my way out I stopped by for the best ATV ride yet — it has rained and there was mud everywhere. Josh was perfect as a guide again and I can’t wait to go back!

Place was perfect full day of activities surrounded by amazing scenery. As for Zip lining I can’t think of a better place to do this at. Far exceeded expectations. Staff was great, fun and informative and made the experience even better. I definitely recommend and will return next time I’m in town.
