We specialize in zip line canopy tours. We offer The Longest and Most Scenic Smoky Mountain Canopy Tour ZipLine in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville! The guides will take you on 7 different ziplines that fly across the river and along the mountain ridges. There is fun for the whole family.

My wife Marion and I raised prize show cattle on our farm for many years until there was a serious drought and hay became so expensive we had to sell all our cattle. In our 60’s we did not know what to do with our farm as it was too large for the two of us to take care of and we were lonely on our 150-​acre farm in the country — about 12 miles from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Then we went on a trip with friends to Alaska and I rode a zip line and it was a fantastic experience. I told my wife then that I knew what we were going to do with our farm. Now we are not lonely, the zip line guides are kind enough to help us take care of the farm, and are having a wonderful time watching people have fun and enjoying the natural beauty of wilderness. We would like to invite you to join us on our family farm when you visit the area.

Great time with the family! Our zip line and obstacle course guides, Brit and Cody were patient, sweet and fun.
There were six in our group and we got the package that came with zip lining, rock wall climbing, adventure hike and obstacle course with the photo cd. I’m not sure the price per person, my husband bought the tickets. But we enjoyed all events!
We had a reservation for Monday, and heard that there was a cold front coming with frost warnings. We asked if we could switch to Sunday instead and they were very accommodating. Ladies at the reception desk were super sweet. We would come again and again if it were close to home!

My wife and I did this on our honeymoon last year. We did the Goliath tour. MAN ITS WAYYYYY UP THERE! it’s pretty awesome. However, it was the most expensive thing we did up there… It is worth paying for ONCE. we won’t be going back just cause we are on a budget. But I give this place 5 stars for the thrill and experience.

What a blast!!! Most importantly amazing views while doing this awesome adventure. My husband and I hiked and saw beautiful sites and a waterfall where we had the chance to take some nice scenic photos. We also did the waterfall zip line adventure. The sites were sooooo beautiful. Tim and Jason were awesome tour guides. They made sure we were safe and had fun. Obstacle course is nothing to rave and rant for.
A must try.

Foxfire Ziplining was overall one of the best experiences I have ever had! It’s a lot of local driving to get there, but once you get there, it’s really spectacular. I went with my parents and my brother, who has developmental disabilities and is pretty low function (cognitively). We knew he would absolutely love it, but we were concerned about his safety, because he would have to zipline by himself. We were grouped with other people and we had two different guides. Our guides were really attentive and very patient. We ended up having a blast, and my brother greatly enjoyed himself. The views are amazing and they encourage you to do some tricks! They have a ropes course that is included as well as their own nature trail and a swinging bridge. They also had rock climbing at no additional cost! My only regret is that we did this all on our last day, so we didn’t get to do everything that they had to offer. you definitely have to eat there too, they have amazing BBQ and make their own ice cream.

A great way to spend your day. We booked online and saved a little money. We showed up early so we went ahead and did the waterfall hiking trail which was very pretty. Then we did the Goliath zip line which was fantastic! We were in a group of six, one other couple around the same age as U.S. (Early 20’s) and a two young siblings. One of the kids was too light and couldn’t make it all the way across two of the lines, but our guides quickly retrieved him and all was well. Our guides were very nice as was the rest of the staff we meet. We then did the rock wall and the obstacle course before leaving. We spent a total of around 5 hours there and would have stayed longer but they were having a end of the year party for the staff that evening so we didn’t want to keep them. Would definitely recommend!

Love this place! We came for the Goliath zip line and stayed for the obstacle and rope course. Goliath exceeded all of our expectations and was a great experience. Sarah, one of our guides, was fabulous, very personable and a pure delight! Luke, on the other hand, could have been more professional. He kept cutting up, which I can appreciate, but it was a little much. Sarah was doing her best to balance out his goofiness with true professionalism.

If you are looking for a great place to spend a day; stop looking and head to Foxfire Mountain. They are a little off the beaten path, but the extra 10 min drive is completely worth it. I was looking for a place to take my family of four ziplining and was trying to decide between all the various options in the area. Ultimately, we chose Foxfire because of all the extra activities that are included (climbing wall, ropes course, hiking trails, rope bridge, etc…). We booked our zipline tour (canopy) at 2PM, but decided to go early to enjoy the other activities. I’m so glad we did. The facilities are fantastic and even without the zipline tour, it would be a great place to visit. Now for the Zipline itself. It was incredible and my entire family loved the tour and our guides were fantastic (I would ask for Jerimiah if he is available). One last bonus is the small BBQ place to get a snack or lunch. We are planning to do the other tour next summer.

My husband and I purchased the Total Adventure Pass that included zip lining, whitewater rafting, and tubing. Granted, the whitewater rafting and tubing was through other companies, the only complaint we have is that after paying $ 245 for the passes, you would think that Foxfire mountain would offer up a free picture. Nobody wants to pay $ 33 for a CD with maybe 5 pictures of us and the rest of the 30 pictures of other people. It just wasn’t we were interested in. We haven’t even seen our group picture yet. I was hoping it would at least be posted on Facebook. My husband would like to add that he felt rushed a bit through the zip lining. Anywho, other than those complaints, we had an awesome time!

We did the Bear Crawler ATV tour and it was awesome. We had a blast both in the ATV and at the places the guide stopped to let us climb a rope in an area that used to be an iron mine, play in a waterfall, etc.
If you book online you can save a few dollars. Tours are expensive but it’s vacation and it was a blast, so just pay the money. We would love to go back to do the zip lines and other activities — looking forward to that on a future trip!

Phenomenal experience! We are a family of 4 with a 9 year old and 15 year old. We did the canopy tour zip line course. It far exceeded our expectations as first timers. The tour guides were great. There’s so much to do back at base camp too. Plan on spending the day there having fun. My only regret is that I didn’t bring my camera zip lining — I think it would have been safe tucked away and taken out at the platforms. Enjoy!

Very cool staff, place and concept. Come to the mountain and enjoy outside. This dog friendly family owned business is a perfect way to spend the day. The staff is laid back friendly and such a cool vibe. The feel of beach living mountain people. Ski instructor gone country… very cool.
Not sure if the bar b q is good it has never been op em while we are there. Bring a cooler with snacks and enjoy lunch by the river right off a easy but beautiful trail. Zip line, rock climb, at and hike the acres of property. Love it.

The zip lines here are pretty cool. I’ve gone a few times to various places, and one of the lines on this scenic tour is quite long! That was pretty cool. However, the waterfall is very tiny and the tour guides didn’t really point it out. We noticed it after we went across the line. Also, we were allowed to do tricks, but I had to ask. They didn’t offer to show us how to do them or what we could do, unless we asked. I’m lucky that I’ve gone before, so I knew to ask. Otherwise, the others in my group would have surely missed out. My biggest issue I have is that on the last line, they take pictures of you. However, due to the trees not being cut, none of them came out. Plus, no one told us about the trees prior to going on the line, so if you did a trick in the beginning, it was never photographed. Yet the guides apparently knew this limitation, as they did tricks right at the end and got pictures of it. Kinda weird that the only good pics were of the guides. We were really looking forward to getting the pictures and even bought the cd with the blurry pics. Get home and only 5 pics are on it, none of us… After seeing all of the fantastic reviews on here, I have to question what’s going on with organization there now.

Foxfire has a good down home feel, even before you arrive. The drive in tells you that only real people abide here!
We did a zipline adventure with Si and Jeremiah, my two kids, and me. We had the whole place to ourselves that morning, and had a wonderful time! We took a bear crawler tour up in the woods a bit– it was underwhelming to me, but I am something of an ATV tour junkie. Meet Bambam, the beautiful african bull. So grateful they had all of our photos at the end on a disc for us to buy (very reasonable, plan on it).
If we are ever in the area, we will be back, no doubt for all the interesting sights to see!

This was our 2nd visit to Foxfire. The first was 2 ½ years ago where we ziplined. They have added so much to the place since then. Just some of the adventures they have other than zip lining is a obstacle course, 8-​wheel ATV rides, massive rock climbing, swinging bridge and nature trails all around the property. This is truly an experience. On this trip we chose to do the «Goliath» tour and man was it awesome! 475′ above the ground and zip lines right at ½ a mile! Talk about breathtaking views! Our guides were Stephanie and Caleb and they were super. Don’t be fooled by other zip lines and their «discounted» prices. At Foxfire they are family owned and their moto «Make sure every customer got their money’s worth and left happy and fulfilled». I can see that they work hard every day to keep that commitment! I felt like family the minute I stepped onto the property! Can’t wait to come back.

Awesome experience!!! Loved doing the obstacle course — website didn’t do it justice — so much more and challenging! Tim, the guide, was very helpful and friendly.
Henrietta the hen was a cute sight to see her come inside and go directly into her basket to lay an egg !
Would go here again and highly recommend.
Also there is a kids course that is a smaller version of the adult one, but is still fun & challenging

The service was welcoming, funny, and friendly. Loved the little rustic cabins of food and their small museum offered in the backyard, including the pig on a zip line. Went for the bridge and waterfall trail. The bridge has a comforting twist as you make a wish to take to the opposing side and the hike was great. This place is away in the mountains and I enjoyed that aspect. :)

What a fabulous time my wife and I had at Foxfire Mountain!
We wanted to do an activity off the grid of tourist havens Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and found many options. After delving through a few brochures, foxfire caught our eye.
We chose to do the Scenic Canopy Tour which turned out amazing. Our tour guides, David and Ashwin were good sports and made the almost two hour event go by quick with plenty of laughs.
It’s about 30 minutes from Gatlinburg as long as traffic isn’t bad and you need to show up about 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time. The website was nice but we had some trouble booking our zip line tour. I had to end up calling to straighten it out. This issue with the online software and CC system is the only reason I gave them four instead of five stars.
Those looking for a slight discount, order through the website, where we saved $ 12 total.
Well worth it!
PS: If you want to purchase the $ 30 cd of pictures, make sure to stay and preview ALL of the pics in the lobby/​waiting room. We hastily said ok and got home and were very disappointed. Only one or two good shots, the rest were of our backs and behinds… I’m sure, others have had much better pictures, but ours were not worth the $ 30.

We took our 12 year old daughter on her first adventure in the mountains and spent the day at Foxfire on a Discovery Pass. It was a spectacular adventure. We loved every moment. Lunch was delicious also. The thing that was most impressive about our day was the incredibly helpful, friendly and just plain awesome staff. Everyone treated us as though we were their only guests and by the time we left, we felt like we’d been spending the day with old friends. The adventures of ziplining, bungee jumping, hiking and tackling the obstacle course at Foxfire Mountain were memories we will never forget. We can’t wait to come back to have more adventures.

Unbelievable experience. The guides were awesome. How could you NOT love zipping between the trees of the Smoky Mountains. They have some of the longest, highest and fastest in the area. I definitely got over my fear of heights really quick. Would definitely do this again and would recommend Foxfire to anyone!
