Bluff’s

Beer was cold, food was mediocre at best. Bartender seemed more interested in his phone than the customers. Burger was overpowered with garlic powder. Fried pickles were okay. Turkey club was all bread and hardly any meat.

I find it odd for starters to see so many perfect scores, as also noted by another reviewer. It definitely raises an eyebrow that at the very least, a portion of these reviews certainly have to be bogus… putting it nicely.
I can say that not all experiences were horrible, but it surprised me the most to receive such slow service on a regular basis in knowing these employees were veterans in the service industry. When a refill was needed (it didn’t matter if it was or wasn’t an alcoholic beverage), it usually required a walk to the bar. Even if my party weren’t sitting outside and were convened indoors at a nearby table, it remained the same as for what to expect in regards to service promptness. It also didn’t matter the time of day. And I can say with confidence that it has definitely never taken over 30 minutes to try to close a tab anywhere else than The Bluffs… more than once, as well.
Honestly, the few times I was given the selection to choose where to go, this place was always last on my list. I knew from word of mouth they expanded from the time I decided to stop going, but during the few times I went, I never liked their bathroom setup — which was very similar to how I remember going in Kindergarten — one each for men and another for women, and only one at a time. A horrible bathroom solution for a bar environment. As for the DJ/​music, I can only silently place my face into my palm and attribute that to a «This is my bar, I’ll play what I want» mentality. No matter the DJ, there was hardly ever any continuity to the music. And as mentioned in a previous review, tracks that should’ve been selected either in the edited format or not at all, was never given any discretion. It is nothing more than a HillBilly bar for the local young scene wash-​ups and winos to meet. Nothing more.

Found this local place while in town, and it did NOT disappoint! The fried pickles were some of the best I have had, the burgers were fabulous, and the wings were crispy and not over sauced.
The service was great, our waitress was very knowledgeable and pointed us towards what she thought we would like. The food came out quickly, and the prices were very reasonable.
Great place, avoid the tourist traps and support the locals, you will be thankful did.

This place rocks! I live in Gatlinburg & this is where I always go if I want a good burger! Tons of combinations & awesome atmosphere! Good job guys & gals!

The employees have written some pretty false reviews this place is horrible, was in town for a week gave them 2 chances. Both SUCKED. It was hard to give them one star. They play extremely vulgar music heard the N word in every song along with Pus. not a place to bring anybody you know or respect. They evidently don’t have any management or supervision.

We stopped in to meet friends after shopping nearby. They have a great beer selection. Our server recommended a beer I believe he called Dunkle. Forgive me but I’m more of a wine drinker so I don’t remember exactly but I really enjoyed it.
We ordered from the lunch menu. Some of us ordered the pork sliders and others ordered chicken tenders. I went with the chicken tenders served with fries. Everything was good and a great lunch option.
It appeared that they have cool things going on at night so we will have to check it out on future visits. There were signs about a trivia night. I would love to visit on a night they have live music. Too bad there wasn’t enough time on this trip.

This place is awesome! Fantastic food, customer service and environment! If you pass up an opportunity to come eat and hang out here, it’s your loss. Probably the best burgers we’ve ever had. I had the chipotle chicken salad and it was awesome, too. Please give it a try!

Great place to hang out and relax. Had karaōke going when we got there. Staff is very friendly and prices are good. Bonus is they have pool tables, ping pong, darts, shuffleboard and golden tee!

This place is awesome, food was great. Bar service exceptional and their DJ Denny Murphy is fantastic. Definitely will be one of our favorites anytime we’re in town

Great burgers, great people, fun atmosphere, games like bags and pool and ping pong, it’s a fun place that seems like it draws regulars as well as tourists. Happy to have stopped by. Seriously though those burgers… Give them a try. Amazing stuff!

We had awesome burgers last night! Props to our server/​bartender (Daniel) for giving us great service during a really busy time. I think they were short a server or two, but he made it work and kept a positive attitude. Thank you for a great time :)

We got the fried mushrooms, fried pickles, and zesty rolls. They served them with a Chipotle dip and their homemade honey mustard. So good!
For my entrée, I got the Philly sandwich with steak. I finished the whole thing. Lol I am stuffed.
Husband got the surf’nturf burger. Yum! It was HUGE. Cooked just a tad too well-​done, but still awesome!

Good tasting wings, prolly the best in the area, although, I haven’t experienced the area. Good food and decent service

We found this place while looking on Unilocal for a good place to grab a bite. The burgers were awesome. All four of us tried a different one and they were all great. The only comment was my buddy said he wished they would have actually grilled the grilled cheese sandwiches on the heart stopper. We will most definitely go back on our next trip, great food, great bar, great atmosphere. Maybe my standards are different but this is far from a dive bar.

Bluff’s did not disappoint. From the awesome sauces for the fried shrimp appetizer to the juicy wings, quick service, hot food, and a barkeep who actually cared, we had a wonderful time.
Although we did not order any burgers, we were impressed by the size of those we saw coming out of the kitchen.
We are glad we chose Bluffs over the other chains in town. We will make it a point to come back.

Found this place on Unilocal!Service was exceptional as was our meal! Place is definitely a place where the locals hang out which made our experience all the better. No long hours waiting for a table in the more traditional touristy restaurant.

This blasted to the top of our favorite hamburgers EVER! My husband had the Hawaiian hamburger and it was so full of flavors that he exclaimed «THAT is a great hamburger!» after the first bite! I almost felt like I had made the wrong choice till I bit into mine, which was the Twisted Burger, and realized it’s the burger itself that is so great! This place will be one of the restaurants we ALWAYS will come to when visiting Pigeon Forge! Our server was great and all of the staff were friendly. The fries were really wonderful, coleslaw was tasty and the free appetizer (with first time Unilocal check-​in) of Fried Jalepenos were plentiful and HOT!

I don’t know if they remodeled or what but this is a very nice bar! The food was good and the service is superb. Our bartender was able to handle a group of 8 for food and drinks and several other patrons in the bar effortlessly. Come here if you want an off the beaten path experience.
