Cedar Creek Brewery started as an idea in October 2010, and became a reality in 2012. When founder Jim Elliott and his wife, Cindy, moved to the lake area in 2008, he became frustrated with the lack of craft beer available and set out to remedy the situation. The rest, as they say, is history.
