U-SAVE Real Estate

If you have a home to sell in Sequim, at least call U-​Save and talk with them… seriously! Sale of my waterfront home just closed, and I couldn’t be happier that I used U-​Save! Absolutely top-​notch service and discounted commissions — that’s all you could ask for, and that’s what we got!
One of my close friends in Seattle is an agent, and she told me that with Sequim property, it was especially important to use a Sequim agent — who subscribes not only to the general MLS, but the special Clallam County listing service as well. Apparently, most other agents (e.g., in Port Townsend) do NOT because of the cost.
Both my neighbor and I decided to sell our Sequim waterfront homes — which are actually in between Sequim and P.T. — at about the same time. After interviewing several very experienced agents with «big name» firms — from both Port Townsend and Sequim — we both concluded that Jim Hardie of U-​Save was at least as knowledgeable and motivated as any of the others, and would save us thousands in commissions. (BTW, sure enough, the P.T. agents did not subscribe to the Clallam Co. listing service.)
Jim helped us establish a reasonable price, and advised us about things that needed to be fixed up, etc. to make the place more salable. He then held a nice open house, which was attended by dozens of agents from most of the area firms (apparently Jim has a reputation for serving fabulous food, so he gets larger numbers of agents at his open houses — smart!).
Jim not only stayed in regular contact during the entire process, mostly by email, but by phone whenever I wanted that or it was needed. Even at times when nothing was happening, he proactively gave me brief updates. And once an offer was made, he gave us good advice each step of the way, both regarding how/​how much to counter, and once accepted, walked me through the seller’s statement, inspection response, etc.
I honestly can’t imagine how anyone could have been more helpful or more effective than Jim was, so I can wholeheartedly endorse him — and U-​Save!
