History
Established in 2000.
Sunshine Herb & Lavender Farm, situated at the gateway to the beautiful Dungeness River Valley and the picturesque town of Sequim, Washington. Our unique weather in «Sunny Sequim» closely replicates the climate and growing conditions of the Provence region of France. Sequim is located in a Rain Shadow at the edge of the Olympic Mountains, where the average rain fall is around 15 inches. Compare that to Forks (80 miles West) at 140 inches and Seattle (60 miles East) at 36 inches of rain in a year
Lavender Plants thrive in the almost perfect growing conditions of the Sequim Dungeness Valley. Renowned for healthy vibrant lavender plants, distillation of exceptional lavender essential oils, and production of high quality lavender products. At Sunshine Herb & Lavender Farm, we distill our own essential oils on-premises and produce our own line of products from lavender grown organically here at the farm.
Meet the Business Owner
Carmen S.
Business Owner
Carmen and her son, Richard, operate their family farm and take great pride in the quality of their plants and products they produce. They have grown their farm from a tiny local shop to an expansive farm store that distributes nation wide. Their «red barn» seen off of Hwy 101, before arriving in Sequim, has become an icon in the community, and they offer one of the largest lavender product selections in the area. Carmen and Richard welcome your visit to their working farm and are excited to share their knowledge of the amazing lavender plant and it’s uses and benefits. Because this is a culinary farm, they ask that your pets be left in the vehicle and thank you in advance for your consideration.
