Rocket Transportation

I Booked Rocket from my home in Sacramento. Needed to go from SeaTac to Port Townsend to my sisters house. Quite a trip from the airport…2−½ hours ride… All details for booking were given in a friendly manner and questions quickly answered. On the day before my flight Scott called and gave me the name of my driver, his phone number and time of pickup. and offered to answer any questions… so off I fly the next day and when I land, my driver Pete calls and leads me thru directions to the pick-​up area… Nice van, comfortable, very clean and Pete takes my bag and stores it and off we go… Smooth ride, great attention to rules of the road in such a congested area before heading out of town… awesome service. Our Super Blue Shuttles need to take some lessons from these guys… My return trip with Elisa the same, a friendly call the day before from Scott to make sure I knew the pick-​up time and who my driver would be etc… This time the biggest van/limo…again super clean, super smooth and great attention again to a safe ride. she even asked half way thru the trip if any of us needed a rest stop break… I have no idea where the negative reviewers come up with their info… While in Port Townsend I got to meet the owner Kathy and a few of the drivers… and see their fleet… all are clean, well maintained and routed for the number of travelers… no one is crammed into full vans… and no I DO NOT WORK FOR ROCKET… I DO NOT THINK THEY WOULD BRAG ON THEIR GREAT SERVICE SO MUCH, maybe they should… Thanks Rocket… Marilyn Suttle, Sacramento

I’ve tried to use them 3 times this year but they are not willing to work with you — their schedules have not supported my airline schedules.

These people are very unprofessional and rude. I attempted on multiple occasions to get a quote on transport from Seattle to Port Townsend only to either reach a voicemail or be spoken rudely to by one of their agents. I would rather take a longer bus ride than to give these people my money. The folks at Olympic Bus are much friendlier… even though it’s not ‘door to door’.

I dread having to use this service because I have no control over who I get as a driver and the quality varies widely. I think there are 12 drivers… two of the women and one man lack the focus they need to have on their driving. One man does not pay attention to traffic patterns ahead of him and two women are just plain scary /​one looks at her phone in her lap while driving and the other — well, she talks a steady blue streak! Nerve wracking!
I will say that most drivers are excellent… for example Elsa and Pete — however the wait is long, the journey takes forever, and the vehicle is usually crammed with riders. Lastly, it’s too expensive… way too expensive.

Had a great ride from downtown Seattle to Port Townsend. The driver, Pete, was courteous as he could be. He was on time and the trip was smooth. Soooo much better than driving myself and in the end much cheaper than renting a car for the week. I would recommend this company to all my friends!

What an awesome experience the ride was… we encountered a delay at hood canal bridge by an hour. Pete was very professional, calm and got us all on time to catch our flights in Seattle airport.
I’m definitely using these folks again, Rocket from Sequim is very reliable, professional and friendly folks!
