Description

Specialties

Nourish, located in beautiful Sequim, Washington, is an exciting garden-to-plate restaurant providing a gathering place for the community and visitors alike! Located on the last remaining acres of a historic 1880s pioneer farm at the base of Bell Hill, the garden enjoys views of Sequim, the San Juan Islands and Mount Baker. Nourish’s Patio Café, Greenhouse Dining Room and private catering, all offer delicious, healthy, gluten-free menus created around locally produced food and beverages; as well as edibles grown on the property. We use local, organic sources whenever possible.

History

Established in 2013.

At its heart, Nourish serves to raise awareness of our food sources, sound nutrition, sustainable living practices and to stimulate local economic opportunity. Nourish’s Patio Café, Greenhouse Dining Room and private catering, all offer delicious, healthy menus created around locally produced food and beverages; as well as edibles grown on the property. Nourish is a haven for artists, musicians and artisans to share and sell their crafts, as well as providing an array of events to entertain and inform. Nourish provides meaningful employment and on-the-job training to young adults in the Olympic Peninsula area.

Meet the Business Owner

Tanya R.

Business Owner

In December 2012 I married Dave, my high school sweetheart. Reconnecting after 32 years, we spent three years traveling 13,000 around Mexico, Belize and Ecuador. We recently relocated from Portland, Oregon to Sequim Washington, and are now living in and remodeling a historic 1880s farmhouse. After denying a lifelong love affair with food and feeding people, now in my fabulous fifties, I am finally allowing myself to live my passion. I love to feed people delicious food that is good for our bodies and our planet too. Nurturing the Nourish family, its interns and guests is a daily joy. Working with local farmers and artisan producers and helping provide them a voice and a venue is extremely satisfying. I am a certified health and wellness coach, earned from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
