We are a small second generation family owned and operated lavender farm in beautiful Sequim Washington. Bring a picnic and sit by the pond, wander our lavender field, or stroll thru the gardens. In our gift shop you will find our famous lemon lavender poundcakes, spices, teas, lotions, and potions. All our lavender product are made here on the farm by my family. We hope you come and visit. If you’d like to stay on the farm, we also have a charming cabin rental right by the pond. It is a perfect get a way from the busy city life.

History

Established in 1994.

My parents purchased 40 acres in Sequim in 1972 hoping to someday retire here. Over the years they sold off 5 acre parcels to put my siblings thru school. We lived in Seattle and would come up every weekend and work on the property. In 1992, my parents moved here permanently and started building their home. Once the home was finished they put in the lavender fields and the gardens. In 2006 my father was diagnosed with Altzhimers and by 2009 they decided they could no longer manage the farm. My husband and I decided to sell our home in Seattle and move to the country. We had been making the products for the shop for many years, and we couldn’t see someone else living on the farm. It was the perfect solution to everything. My parents are still actively involved in the farm and are here nearly everyday helping out. Nelson’s Duckpond and Lavender Farm is the culmination of my family’s dreams ~ we hope you come visit and enjoy our little slice of heaven.
