History
Established in 2014.
Lavish Day Spa has humble beginnings stemming from passion, dreams, and desire. Lavish Day Spa’s owner, Kristine Smith, has been a massage therapist for over a decade and has always been an independent booth renter at salons and other massage therapy clinics. It has always been Kristine’s goal to own and operate her own spa.
After moving to Sequim in the summer of 2013, she began work as an independent massage therapist for a Port Angeles clinic. After 8 months, Kristine was given an opportunity to start up on her own. She jumped at the chance.
After years of patiently waiting and planning, it finally became a reality. In February of 2014, Kristine opened Lavish Day Spa in her office at Lehman Court, inside of Sequim Gym.
By December of 2014, Lavish Day Spa had outgrown its current space in the Sequim Gym and opted to move to a new location, around the corner. The spa now occupies the old Sequim Spice and Tea Shop next to Hurricane Coffee.
