GoXpeditions currently specializes in kayak and stand up paddle board rentals. Also available are Hobie’s ingenious mirage pedal kayaks that allow a paddler a hands free option in order to fish, pull up crab pots or just cruise around the bay. Getting out on the water is a great way to relax — and also a great workout. Our float is the only rental business in the area located on the water. No need to carry boards or kayaks to the water. You just have to get in and off you go.

History

Established in 2014.

GoXpeditions began as a rental option out of Sunset Marine Resort located on the east side of Sequim Bay. The need for a full option rental service inspired us to expand to include our current location at John Wayne Marina — right on the docks. Sequim Bay is the perfect place to paddle. Our intention has been to make paddling easy and accessible for all.

The next phase of GoXpeditions will include full package off site rentals. These package rentals will allow people to choose a camper specially outfitted with gear of their choice — making it easier than ever to get out into the beautiful natural places in the Olympic National Park and Forest. Whether you are interested in the beach, rain forest, Sol Duc or Olympic Hot Springs — you name it — all you need to do is hitch up and head out. Leave the packing to us.

We’ve been in the business of helping people create memories for some time now. After 14 years of running a resort — we’ve listened to our guest’s stories, their inspirations and also the difficulties that keep them from getting out more often. We love to be outside — to discover what’s around the next bend in a trail, to walk the beach and play in the waves or mountain bike a new path — you name it. But we also know how hard it is to make that happen when work is always calling. So we decided to make our work — the focus of making it easier for people to get out. LIfe is short — we all need to go play more often.
