6 of us stopped in yesterday for lunch. The bartender was nice, and got us our drinks quickly, and gave us menus to look at. After about 15 minutes I ordered some wings to share with the group. When the wings came out a few others wanted to try some. more appetizers and ordered nachos and cheese stix. They placed the order, and the bartender also took our food order. About this time the bartender informed us there were normally 3 people cooking and 2 front staff, but due to call’ins it was only her and 1 cook. That’s where the issues start. First I received my french fries and my wife received her sandwich. Approximately 4 minutes later I received my personal pizza,(fries were mostly gone) and 2 more people in our group received their sandwiches. By the way, we still hadn’t gotten the nachos or cheese stix… so we told the bartender to cancel the other appetizers. Another few minutes passed and the final 2 people in the group got their sandwiches. Not a way to spend having lunch(portions) with friends. The only reason I give this place a 2 is for the efforts of the bartender. She worked hard to keep people happy, but with scattered food delivery, and ehhh tasting food I know we will not be going back anytime soon.

Been here several times and always bad service and issues with the food. The owner doesn’t care about the customers, otherwise he would work to improve the food and service. It is a shame because it is in a great location and the décor is very nice. Hopefully some more attention will be paid to treating the employees better so that they can improve and provide great service and food.

Had a retirement party here and it was outstanding. The manager Kristie had done and set up everything I asked for and then some. Had tables of appetizers and pizza and everything was delicious! The servers we had were very attentive to our party and we didn’t have to ask for anything. They were always one step ahead of us. I would definitely recommend there for a party as they have a separate area that is perfect for this, or for just a night out for dinner and drinks.

Seeing as it’s been an hour and we still haven’t gotten our simple order of a salad and hot wings… Not sure what else to say. But they didn’t end up charging for our drinks. Because of the wait

Delicious pizza, served fast, Jordan was a great waitress. Two kids– Rielly Sanders and Kyle Boyd played music very well during our meal. Due to half price pizza sunday, we got the equivalent of an 18 inch supreme pizza for about $ 20.

Biking in the area and we decided to try this cute little place. Very clean and the people who wait on you are extremely nice. The sandwiches are very good and reasonable. My husband liked the beers they had on tap. We would go back if in the area.

First visit was terrible. Servers seemed like the had zero training, experience, or confidence. Food was ok at best but over priced. Second visit servers still poor. Bartenders were better. 2 stars only for draft beer selection.

This place has potential if it didn’t take forever to get your food. I ordered biscuits and gravy… 30 minutes later just got it.

We are locals, and have been to Sandlot two times previously, without anything good to say about the food or the service. We decided to give it one more try tonight. Our waitress, Taylor, was a professional. Cheerful and efficient. Taylor made us feel welcome. We ordered an appetizer of naked Garlic Chicken Wings. We ordered 6 wings, but 12 were delivered. Taylor apologized, and only charged us for 6. We were happy with the compromise. The wings were good. Not very meaty, at all, but well cooked and nicely seasoned. One of us had the Cod fish sandwich, served with fries. The other entrée was the Cobb Salad. The Cod sandwich was well cooked, and the serving of fries was generous. Do not bother ordering any Tartar Sauce… they don’t have it. The Cobb Salad was actually quite good. Ingredients were fresh, but the only meat was chicken. Usually, a Cobb salad is offered with ham and turkey as the meat proteins. Bacon, romaine lettuce, olives, egg, tomato completed the Sandlot Cobb. The dressing, a Balsamic Vinaigrette, was mostly olive oil, but was thankfully served on the side. Serving size was generous. We will probably keep this establishment in our list, but we will be careful of what we order. And we hope we have Taylor as our waitress!

We moved to the area a number of months ago. The reviews on this place weren’t that great, but I still needed to give it a shot myself. First off, we got some pizza to go. We brought it home and it was a decent pizza for a good price. Since we’ve been in our house a number of months now… I have found some pizza places I like better(Alfanos)…but it was a decent local pizza. I normally cook most of my meals at home, but I wouldn’t hesitate to get the pizza again. I’ve only been in the Sandlot a handful of times. Each time I’ve been in they seem to have some decent selections of beer on tap. One of my favorite beers has been in there every time I visited the place, Revolution Anti-Hero. There’s been a few other decent beers in rotation as well… for me, a beer lover… this is good news. I’ve also had the opportunity to try some fo the other food as well. I saw the pictures below of the taco salad and cannot deny that that person taco salad looks bad! My daughter also got the taco salad and it was actually quite nice. Crispy shell, fresh lettuce, etc… and the meat was cooked fine. Maybe we just got lucky, or maybe it depends who’s working in the kitchen… I don’t know. I thought the jalepeno bottlecaps(I think that’s what they were called) were pretty decent. Nice little snack to munch on while your food is being cooked. The hamburgers ranged from decent to okay. I like my hamburgers medium rare… and it could be a tough thing to find a properly cooked hamburger nowadays. But all in all… pretty decent hamburgers… and the place is local. So far… I’ve had decent to good experiences here. take care all!

We went again 4 months after their grand opening thinking that they would’ve worked out the kinks. Service was little better but food was worse than than the prior visits. We won’t be going back.

They served my Daughter spoiled chicken. We sent it back, they warmed it up and sent the spoiled chicken back. And if you order the«Portabella mushrooms» they are just plain old white mushrooms. And they have Paninni on the menu but obviously have NOCLUE what that is. It came basically as a toasted sandwich. As a local, I had such high hopes. It was beyond dreadful!

While we really liked the food when we ordered when they first opened I am not a happy person after tonight. Started calling about 8pm. No answer… rings and rings. At one point 40 rings. I know they are open as we drove past there on our way home. I called the Morris location and they said yes its open but after they tried told me no answer to them also. They’d call a manager and call me back to let me know it was ok to call. Well an hour and a half later I called Casey’s in town. I had to be able to feed the family and it is now almost 10pm. No call back from Morris and as of 9:30pm still no answer at Seneca’s. Not sure how they are going to stay in business for the takeout/delivery end if they don’t keep there phones answered.

I had to update my experience here… So much better! When they first opened they were failing behind, now they’re good. Pizza isn’t great not even Chicago style but it’s good. Dollar bottle nights are good too!

JUST opened, and it’s a soft opening. Only had pizza so we ordered a thin cheese pizza to go: was a bit burnt. Tried again another night but ate there. Only added a few more things to the menu… was looking forward to the wraps or the spinach salad, but oh well. Ordered the BBQ chicken pizza: YUM!!! Also ordered a indie cheese togo for my daughter: EXCELLENT! Looking forward to trying more when they are ready. As far as atmosphere, the place is very nice. Concrete floor is treated to give a «sand» appearance. Glass block & brick décor. TVs can be seen from everywhere. Nicely done.

Absolute disappointment! The waitress was rude & after being told on the phone that they were only serving burgers, wings, & pizza, said only pizza was available m this was at 130pm yesterday. We left after getting complaints of waiting over an hour for even appetizers. We went across the street to Fergys, fined and left as friends of ours were leaving the Sandlot. They waiting an hour and a half for burgers and left without getting them. We also heard that the mgr in charge is supposed to be experienced and from the Morris location. Really!!! Big disappointment when we were looking forward to this place opening!
