The Burrito Shack

This place is pretty good with a similar taste to chipotle. Food is cheap and quality is always good every time I come here. And the salsa bar is good too.

Much better. The ladies were awesome today! Food was great and staff was friendly. I ordered a smaller portion and I really enjoyed the chicken quesadilla. The mild salsa was the best. I went their for lunch and I love the queso but its alot to eat on a break when your running short on time, wish they had a smaller version.

Burrito Shack is awesome. Great fresh food, very friendly staff, and reasonably priced. I usually opt for the Surfer Burrito with guacamole in a jalapeño cheddar or spinach tortilla, which runs about $ 7.00. If you are on the fence and like this style of food you will not be disappointed in Burrito Shack. Salsa bar is always well stocked and very tasty as well. I’ve eaten at a lot of these types of places, both national chains and local joints in other areas of the country, and Burrito Shack is one of the best I have been to.

Food has always been good and fresh! Have been several times. Had not so great service once. I think the pricing is good. Would definitely recommend.

Ummm, I’m not sure what some people expect. This place is ten times better than Moe’s or Chipotle. Those are chain, bulk, fast food. Everything in this restaurant is fresh. I’ve has the the steak and chicken burritos and the knarly nachos. All of it was great. Every one I’ve told to eat here has loved it too. Try it. You won’t regret it.

It’s a nice change of pace and the food is decent. I like the loaded nachos. Would bore of this place easily.

This place is a down grade from Moe’s. They give a lot of food but the quality of the food isn’t worth the money. Not to mention the rude teeny boppers they have for staff. Next time I’ll just go to Moe’s!

Very basic. .. I ordered a chicken quesadilla. After waiting for quite a while, I realized that my food had been burned to a crisp while the cook was not in the kitchen. HMMM My food was re-​made but was still very basic tasting and served in a basket.

For almost $ 17 we got one quesadilla, an extra side of chips and two drinks … TOO EXPENSIVE!
While eating, I thought I smelled cigarette smoke … I got up and realized that one young lady was up front while the rest of the staff was outside SMOKING!

FINALLY in the OC a place to grab a burrito on par with the franchises (Moe’s, Chipotle). Guacamole is excellent and worth the up charge. Inviting atmosphere and OPEN ON MONDAY! So many local lunch places are closed Monday. Love this great local joint!

Seneca needed a place like this. The owner and workers are extremely nice and welcoming. Had the steak burrito and it was pretty solid. Packed full of fresh ingredients and definitely fills you up. Of course sour cream and guac are extra but unlike other places they aren’t stingy with it and you get your moneys worth! Just opened in November and I hope it stays around for a while. Definitely worth the try and I will be making more visits in the near future!

It was just ok. Food was bland. Rice & beans felt like they came out of a can with no seasoning whatsoever. Portions were large and place was clean, but because of the lack of seasoning, I wouldn’t go back.

First time to come here. I tried a burrito because this place is called «The Burrito Shack» so I had to try it! I am from Southern California and I love Mexican food so I know what’s good. And this place was pretty good. I was surprised.
This place is like Chipotle or subway where you can specify your order.
Inside decoration is like Wahoo’s Fish Taco, Southern California style. Surf boards, pictures of the beaches, etc.
I liked that they have several kinds of tortillas (spinach, tomato & basil, etc) but I tried the original flower tortilla.
The ingredients are almost the same as the ones in CA but they had melted cheese, which I have never seen in CA.
I gave 4 stars because they didn’t have carnitas (simmering pork) nor shrimp/​fish, a SoCal mainstay. They had chopped salsa, and Pico de Gallo, but available for customers as an extra charge (I believe). They offered a Salsa bar where the salsa options were not chopped, but mixed/​blended up salsas (verde, mild, hot, very hot.). There are few selections of drinks and they had only small or large size of drink. I had unsweetened tea and there is no regular sugar, only substitutes. I’m sure they would if I had asked. All in all, you will enjoy the food if you have never had Mexican food.

Solid place, clean and inviting. The chicken tacos were really good, reminded me of my former SoCal hotspots. (Wahoos Fish Taco) The Burrito Shack, w/​a Wahoos style and approach (delivering fresh, healthy food that is great quality. quickly) is planning on adding seafood options to their menu, a definite must! Shrimp and fish tacos are sure to be a staple when this happens. Food was fresh, made on the spot, great tasting and plenty of it. Staff more than helpful and all cheery to speak with. Owner was a good guy to speak with too. The ideal option for eating on the go, but done with a «Healthy mindset» and with great hospitality. Will be back for sure. Recommended!

If you have ever eaten Barberitos it is like that. We normally drive to Anderson just to eat there an now we don’t have to. I hope other people eat this an keep this business going. Its so good an way healthier than other fast food places in the area. I plan to make this my new go to place to eat :)
