S-​Tek is a family owned and operated business built on the premise that top-​notch construction should be timely, affordable and produce satisfied clients. In 1995, after spending several years in the real estate business, owner/​operator Delano Smith decided to step into the world of new home construction and renovations. Motivated by his love for building, Delano’s goal was to create a business the community could trust. In 1999, S-​Tek Builders expanded their custom homes and remodeling services and became certified NatureScape sunroom dealers with PGT Industries forming Sunrooms by S-​Tek.

Business Owner

After spending several years in the real estate business, owner/​operator Delano Smith decided to step into the world of new home construction and renovations. In 1995 Delano started S-​Tek Builders and has focused on quality craftsmanship with outstanding service.

S-​Tek became one of the first construction companies in the area to offer 4-​season insulated rooms as well as 3-​season, Eze-​Breeze 4-​track systems. In 2001, PGT recognized S-​Tek as being the «Most Innovative Dealer». In 2003 they were a «Design Awards National Finalist» and in 2004 were recognized as «Dealer of The Year.» In 2005 the Home Builders Association awarded S-​Tek with the «Best Hi-​Tech Design» and most recently S-​Tek was honored by Oconee County with the «Best of the Best» Reader’s Choice Award for Best Remodeling Company.

In 2013, S-​Tek introduced S-​Tek Aluminum Building Products, LLC (S-​Tek ABP) located in Westminster, SC. S-​Tek ABP is a fabricator of aluminum building products and a provider of energy solutions
