We are a full liquor bar that specializes in a variety of drinks and shots! If you know it, we can make it! We also specialize in an ever-​evolving menu from the grille! Not your ordinary bar food, we guarantee it!

You know what else? We have over 30 TV’s all around out 5000sqft establishment to give you the ultimate sports watching experience! We specialize in all football games that are broadcasted through BrightHouse and DirecTV.

We are smoker friendly! But no worries if you are a non-​smoker. Our facility incorporates 5 smoke-​eaters, and multiple fans to allow the circulation of air to comfort our non-​smokers.

Our facility exhibits a family friendly atmosphere coupled with outstanding service! Our bartenders pride themselves in getting to know everyone making it «Your Neighborhood Sports Bar.»

History

Established in 1996.

The history of Time Out Sports Bar, formally Time Out Grille & Bar, dates back before the purchase of our Oakhurst Road location. It started out as a small little piece of what you see today. Heck the bar only encompassed the southern third section where the bar stands itself! Over the years we’ve knocked down walls, expanded, grew, and expanded again! All we can say is that we are the longest continuous establishment to occupy, and we will continue to grow and thrive for years to come.

What set us apart from other bars that have come and gone is our service. Our bartenders have been with us since day 1, and are also a permanent fixture! We do not cater to the fly by night population, meaning we want to establish a relationship with our patrons! Our bartenders have been known to have your drink ready on the bar before you even walk through the door. This great service has kept us going for many years, and will be the reason we remain in business for many more years to come!

Time Out Grille & Bar was purchased by Tom two years ago. Tom is the owner of Stix Billiards in Palm Harbor, Stix Dunedin, Overtime Sports Bar and Shooters. Time Out has remained in business for over 19 years for a reason. Our customers are our foundation. Tom realizes this and did not want to change the «Your Neighborhood Sports Bar» feel. He certainly did make improvements with a remodel and a new menu that has rocked the local community. The atmosphere and «Cheers» feeling remains the same.

Tom’s experience in the industry is a direct reflection on the atmosphere and the quality of service you can expect to receive from the staff at Time Out Sports Bar.
