Culver’s

Decided to give this location a chance after the east bay one became a disaster. This was no better. Terrible service. The kid packing the food actually wiped his nose with his gloved hand and then proceeded to keep using it. He also grabbed pens, used the register and other nasty stuff. The manager was leaning on the counter and didn’t even have his shirt tucked in. What an example…
They had no fried chicken at one in the afternoon or they just didn’t feel like making it. Why have it on the menu then?
Case has no flavor of the day.

Okay, where do I start? Well, I had been here a couple times by Drive Thru, where service was somewhat slow, but acceptable for a made to order burger. The frozen custard is actually delish, and a few times I just got that. Burger from Drive Thru was tasty, but pretty darned greasy.
Decided to go inside for a burger recently. What a mistake ! When you first come in — it’s a Cluster%&^k ! Can’t tell where the line is or where exactly to order. The kids they have working are too busy talking to each other to wait on anyone, and only when I asked — are you working or what ?- did I get any service. Since they put too much «butter» on the previous burger buns, I asked for «no butter» on my single burger (bun). Of course, that put them into a tailspin, (guess no one’s ever asked for that before), and I knew I was in for it.
They give you a number, and you sit down to wait for the food. Okay, 5, 10, then 15 mins goes by. I ask about my burger, to be told «Well the drive thru’s backed up and we’re shorthanded. We serve the drive thru first.» Okay, good to know. «serve the drive thru first»? Really? So why bother ever coming inside? Another 5 mins goes by. At this point I was quite irritated and asked to speak to the manager. «We’re shorthanded. He’s working the grill right now and can’t come out to talk». At this point I’d waited close to 25 mins for my burger, and was ready to demand my money back and leave, but then the kid gives me a coupon for a free meal and a «yours is coming right out», so I waited again.
Sat back down, and after a few more mins., finally they bring out my burger. (waited about 30 mins total), and guess what ?!! Not only did the bun have TONS OF BUTTER, I also received a «Double», not the single I ordered ! So all the waiting for what I had assumed was for «no Butter», I still got Butter on the wrong size burger. GGGRRR. At this point, I sopped up as much grease as I could with a napkin, and ate about half of a bigger burger that I didn’t want.
I complained to the kid who seemed to be the only crew member that actually cared, and he apologized. I told him they really need to get their act together, and he just kept saying «we’re understaffed, and people called in sick».
My advice — Avoid this place except maybe for going thru the drive thru for a delicious frozen custard. The hamburger meat itself tasted good, but it’s really pretty greasy with the buttered bun. Don’t go inside because as I said before, it’s a Cluster%&^k in there.

It’s fast food burgers, fries, onion rings but if you want amazing ice cream go here. I’ve eaten the burgers quite a few times and they’re good similar to other fast food places like S&S but I swear they have THE best ice cream. The peanut butter cup concrete mixer is a go to.

Awesome friendly service, fast hot food, yummy custard! So glad to have quality food from Wisconsin!

All I can say is «Is was so greased couldn’t eat the special fish dinner». Oil from the frying covered the bottom of the dish. Looked like a boat sank. If you want somee super food, read Unilocal

Decent fast food at reasonable prices. It’s definitely a cut above McD’s or BK. The burgers and fries aren’t inspiring, but they have a good selection. Their onion rings tend to be a better choice if you like that sort of thing.
What makes Culver’s stand out is the shakes! Their custard chocolate malt is to die for. So happy to get my fix again.

Great food and friendly place to eat. Very clean and staff is extremely welcoming. Concrete Mixers are amazing!!!

I don’t get this place. The entry sequence and ordering process is quite a cluster$&@$. There is no queuing line with people coming in from 2 sides so nobody knows where to stand. The ordering area is really shallow too. It is just a really poor restaurant design with respect to customer flow. The food is similar to Steak and Shake. While the burgers are ok the crinkle cut fries are nothing special and quite bland (think store bought frozen fries). The décor is really odd too — if there concept is farm fresh family style it doesn’t show. I might go back to try their ice cream but not for lunch or dinner.

I have been here a few times and this is what happens. The burgers are extremely greasy and lack luster. The fried chicken is dry if they even have any, and the service is what you would expect if
12 year Olds were running the show. The last time we went, they forgot our banana split. When we went back, they acted like it was my fault, gave me an overflowing container in the drive thru and when we went to eat it, there was an extremely green banana at the bottom. Do you know what happens when you eat green bananas? I didn’t, but I do now. Lots of nauseating GAS. My husband passed gas all night long. I had to sleep in another room. Even my bulldogs were like WTF, Dad. Needless to say, I was surrounded by 5 furry animals trying to escape the assault of dad’s butt. My husband said he had the worst belly ache and couldn’t stop passing gas. Even the next day at work, his boss almost sent him home. Be careful what you put in your stomach from this place.

Fast food at it’s finest. Don’t go here expecting a gourmet burger but definitely a few notches above McDonald’s or dare I say Shake N Steak.
If you’re feeling American and are super hungry, order the Culver’s Deluxe with Wisconsin Cheese Curds as a side. The burger was juicy and the Cheese Curds tasted akin to mozerlla sticks but instead in the shape of a ball.
If your feeling fish, the fried waleye is pretty good. I believe it is only available for a limited time during the year depending on the waleye season. Fish tasted fresh and not what I would expect from a fast food restaurant.
I rated it 4 stars to give it more cred and because it exceeded my expectations of a fast food hamburger. If I wanted to pay for a thick restauant style burger, I wouldn’t have gone here.

3:30pm Sunday feb28, 2016… I go to the drive thru ask, for a flavor of the day, turtle, and politely ask if they can make the ice cream look like the picture (because I’ve been here many times before and the flavor of the day is always lacking its pizzazz and hype that the picture and flavor forecasts create). Yeah I have the app and check this stuff out each week because I love ice cream! So, please don’t disappoint me and give a a little vanilla ice cream with 2 pieces of pecan and a squirt of caramel and forget the chocolate! Will ya!!! DO IT RIGHT! Ppplllleeeaaasssseeeeee. Just once.
So, I asked if they would give me a cup of turtle that looked like the pic, and you know what? THEY DID.
Congrats! I would give you 3 stars instead of 2 if the little BRAT at the drive thru didn’t hand me my cup of ice cream, say ‘have a nice day’ and then SLAM the window in my face!
What a B. But hey! Thanks for the follow through! I know the labor pool is chalk full of bright eyes but the manger needs to handle his inconsistency. Do your freakin’ job.

I was kind of happy that Culvers was coming to my neighborhood because we had them in MN and I liked them. I thought that since their parking lot was often crowded it was a good sign… but no.
This one is awful. Burger was tiny and burnt. Tomato was way under-​ripe. I mean it was just gross. I made a special trip there too.
Never again!

I guess they dont lie when they call it a «butter burger.» If you like really greasy food, this is the place to go! My burger was dripping with grease and was not very good. I’ll try it again based on menu selections, but won’t hurry back.

This is one of the greasiest and skinniest burgers I’ve ever had. Not a place to come if you have any dietary health concerns. If I come back it would be to try the chicken but as far as semi fast good burgers, I’ll stick to Five Guys.

On a spur of the moment decision, we decided to try the drive thru at this new restaurant. We’ve never eaten at Culvers before and won’t again. After taking our order and money (lots of it) we pulled to the side with four other cars to wait for our food… waited at least ten minutes till they brought it out. After that you would think the food would be nice and fresh, but my husband’s burger and onion rings were over cooked and only mildly warm — the cheese curds were also over cooked and barely warm. Terrible food and overpriced!

My kids are fans of Culver’s and this was my child’s request for his lunch at school on his birthday. I was running late to deliver his Culver’s lunch so I called ahead to place an order. They said that since they just opened they were not taking call ahead orders for another 2 weeks. I explained how I was late for my son’s lunch and they said they’d be more than happy to help me out. They took my order and when I arrived at the new location on Park they had the order ready. It shaved 10 minutes off my time and I was so grateful that they accommodated my request and helped me out in a pinch. Two thumbs up for customer service and the kids love the root beer!

Amazing food. Burgers are EXCELLENT Cheese curds are excellent too. The custard is to die for! I have also had the blue cranberry chicken salad and loved it. They are new as of right now, so it is busy. Stay for the dessert… it is well worth it. This place will be a big hit for Seminole. Drive thru is available too.
