History
Established in 1991.
DeWayne’s Country Garden began in 1991 as a road side produce stand on the front lawn of the local Outlet Center. DeWayne Lee, age 20 set up the stand to recover from his lost pumpkin crop for that growing season, by selling pumpkins on consignment from another supplier. The produce stand proved successful and soon added the sale of Christmas Trees. As the seasons changed DeWayne & wife Tina added plants & statuary to their road side stand inventory.
Ten years later, the business made it’s final home in a new building, The Gift Shop. Which is the current location on Industrial Park Drive just down the road from the local outlet center. The business name transitioned to DeWayne’s Home & Garden Showplace.
On the 20 year anniversary, the business celebrated with a new logo & name.
