Had the grandma pie. Was just ok. A little salty. Their regular pie with extra sauce is really good.

Tried this place for the first time about a year and a half asgo. Food was so, so, and the service was terribly slow. After receiving a coupon in the mail we thought, let’s give them a second try. Definitely glad we did! Chicken parm hero with a side of baked ziti was excellent. There was something about their sauce that was unique and a real pleasure. Took the food to go so I can’t say how the service is, but they were very busy when I picked up my order.

Have ordered from here twice recently. First time ordered 1 pizza for delivery, quoted 45 mins for delivery but took 90 minutes but once we got the pizza it was delicious! Well done real pepperoni (fresh slices not the classic round pepperoni) Next time we ordered, the pizza was just as delicious, we just knew to pick it up this time. Garlic knots were also delicious, right ratio of dough to crunch.

I went in a few times. Im sorry the place might be clean. BUT the food was gross. The waitress had on see threw legging and got lost for 15 minutes. Not really a good place to eat. NEVER GOING BACK

Pizza is decent at best, how can they justify charging $ 1.10 for a side of sauce to go, it’s a joke. Will not be going back, plenty of other pizza places

Thank you Shane for putting up with a nice grumpy group of ladies that were starving after waiting for a whole hour at another restaurant they took care of us! Food was absolutely amazing!

They handle food with bare hands and no gloves. The young woman that we ordered with at the time was handling credit cards, cash and everything else, then she went right ahead touching pizza with those bare hands.
Including her, none of the staff were wearing any gloves.
Inevitably, my husband and I both got horribly sick after a pasta dish and 2 slices of pizza.
The food wasn’t even good. Not worth it.

Brought the family in and everybody enjoyed it. Their pastas are great. The servers were really friendly and the tortellini was good. They were accommodating to little kids too.

Good: food is good. Understaffed wait staff are amazing.
Bad: price vs portions. Expensive and they give the least amount of food possible. I ordered a veal parm hero and 50% of my bites had no meat. Very stingy.
After about 10 visits, I think I am done with Them. Too bad, because the food is pretty good.

I have tried to like this place. The pizza is decent. But the attitudes of the people who answer the phones for delivery and are at the counter are HORRIBLE. If you are bothered by people being customers you should just close your doors! Problem solved. Honestly I’m so turned off by the negative and down right nasty attitudes I will not be trying here ever again.

I had a local flavor deal for this place and even though Unilocal says it has closed, I called and they answered, so off my family of four went.
We were seated immediately, waiter Paul was extremely nice, got a nice carafe of ice water for the table with lemons floating in it, tasted very refreshing, not like the dishwater most places serve. The garlic knots that were put on the table were hot and yummy.
Husband got pasta purses in a cream sauce with shrimp and scallops, delicious. I think it was probably supposed to come with a salad, but he said it was no big deal if he didn’t get it because he didn’t particularly feel like salad. One child got chicken fingers which were good. The other got 2 slices of Sicilian that he enjoyed. I got a side order of meatballs that were moist and flavorful. For dessert we got a slice of chocolate cake that was pretty tasty and the coffee was flavorful and fresh.
I know this place gets a lot of negative reviews but I have to say we had a great experience there tonight. Would definitely go again.

My husband usually loves this place but last night they really let us down. He ordered a large chicken parm pizza at 10 pm last night. I went to pick it up. When I got home and opened the box some of the cheese wasn’t even melted, which means it wasn’t cooked long enough. The chicken was rubbery and we found a black hair inside of the cheese. Which means it was baked in. I was disgusted. We threw out the rest of the pizza. We have always recommended Boccone to family and friends because we felt they had a higher quality of food but I have been deceived.

Food here was pretty decent the first few times I tried it, not tonight though. Lasagna was gross. They call it meat lasagna but all it is is meat sauce with a sad excuse for lasagna on top of it. No ricotta cheese, very little mozzarella and almost no sauce, pretty much just noodles. My wife got eggplant parm and pretty much the same garbage, layers of eggplant with little sauce and almost no cheese. No more for me.

Won’t ever be back! The hostess put us at an awkward table in a crowded section. I asked if we could move to a booth and she said oh I thought this would be more room. It was smaller tables pushed together on an angle. So I say oh so the booths are closed? Thinking that’s why she wanted us there. Then she moved us but then my family was embarrassed that I asked. I don’t know why she questioned me. My family then thought I was giving her a hard time as she kept rebutting me on why she picked this table. All she had to do was say sure! so my husband walked out and we ate dinner alone. I didn’t even want to come here as I was not impressed last time.

Where do I start… The employees receiving orders and packing food are rude. They are carrying on a personal conversation with cursing as they roll their eyes upon taking orders. Do not tell you your take out order is done. Was there for a while and finally asked if my order was done. Lady asked my name and annoyed looked at the receipts on boxes and just passed the box without a word or eye contact. Really!
The grandma pie was good.
The regular pie was bleh.
Enough said.

Love the food but I need to write that every time I eat there I get a huge headache. I wish they would just not use so much salt. Hoping they read this and fix it. We had the Brick Oven pizza today. Service was good. The reason for the 2 is only because of the high amount of sodium used.

3^rd time here, my son turned me on to it… very good pizza, nice menu, good pasta dishes… seems like i’ll be coming back again. They need to just work on a seating area for slices and repair front window seat counter top as it is not stable but besides that, everyone is very friendly and service was good and live music was nice too! Take it from a stubborn Italiano!

Love this place… Delicious every time. Even though it’s further away then other pizza restaurants Its worth it.

Been here twice. 1^st time was
Delicious and service was exceptional.
2^nd visit was horrendous. Wrong food and servers were overwhelmed with too many tables. Food took forever and not very tasty.
Gave 3 stars for their 50% success rate with me this far. Not sure if I would even give it another chance.

3 ½ Star place, its needs some front of the house skills to bring this place to a true 4 star.
My family & I walk in and want to be seated for dinner. We walk up to the hostess stand and we’re told a 20 minute wait? I was about to turn around but my son was hungry. I went back and asked the hostess: you didn’t take my name, how far are we on the list? Oh, your table is being prepped now. One minute wait.
*Mr. Owner, you almost had 3 covers walk out on a Saturday night
We sit down and look at the menu, lotsa pasta and pizza choices. We’re ready to eat so we order (2) brick oven pizzas, a big arugula salad, coconut shrimp and a big rice ball.
We order a nice Italian red wine and we’re waiting for everything to come out. I see every other table eating bread but us. The salad comes out and its a regular Iceberg lettuce salad. My wife said to our waitress, this is the wrong salad. No problem, I thought you said regular salad, I’ll bring you an Arugula salad.
Nah, its ok. Leave it here, can we please have some bread? (It never comes)
All the food starts coming out. It’s pretty good, no complaints. I see a guy who looks like the owner and he nods to us. «Everything ok folks?»
He has a soft spot in my heart because my dad owned a place like this in the 70s so I know all the things going through his head on a Saturday night.
We see one of the pizza guys working here that used to work at another place by our house. We start BSing with him, he says he likes it here, its a nice place.
Boccone Pizzeria is a nice place to bring your family and eat a large pizza or bowl of spaghetti. We’ll be back for more pizza.
