I love Harris Teeter. It is one of the best stores around. This location lives up to my expectations. It is not your typical beach grocery store. It offers a decent selection of all items. It is a real grocery. The fish department is clean and well managed. The deli, perfection. Produce that you can be proud of when serving. The prices are good. I will pay a bit more foreign quality, but this is equivalent pricing in my opinion. It has a Starbucks! Great staff and a great store.

I love the selection in the produce section. I love being able to get lots of organic options for food, meats, and everything from flour to rice to canned items. They have high quality items. its kind of a mix between whole foods/trader joes/your local grocery store. I don’t really think its very expensive, especially for the selection. And they have some of the friendliest employees around.

It seems like our annual beach trips haven’t started until we’re pulling into Harris Teeter for the goods of the week. Prices are reasonable for the area, customer service is good, so why the low rating? Anytime we get produce here, I have a problem with something mildewing or going rot too early. Got a pack of 4 tomatoes this year, pre packed and said to be good for two weeks, two mornings later I pick one up and hidden mold all over. Bogus find. So the produce is shotty, and the selection(especially in things I would like to grill) is limited and pricey. It seems like the bakery is larger than the meat department. Cmon man.

I’ve been shopping here since day 1. As far as being near by, having a selection, and decent sales… this place is good. 4 stars good. They offer self checkout, which is a HUGE bonus. Where they’ve lost the star is in a few places: Over all the prices are a little high. Luckily what ever you’re looking for you’ll be able to find a comparable brand on sale. But often times the exact item you may way will be 10−20% higher than elsewhere. Hours. We all got duped. The first year they were open 24 hours. Kind of got us all hooked and used to it, and now they close early in the off season. When the tourists are gone for the year they stop being 24. A lot of people in this town work late nights and being right next to a 24 hour gym one would think… Now, the following is NOT a factor in them losing a star. It is a factor that cost them a lot of my business. The deli/sandwich counter. HT had the BEST meatball sub in town. The ladies knew my order. Meatball on cheese bread, provolone and as little sauce as possible. I’m sloppy enough, I don’t need the extra capability. A few years back they stopped keeping the meatballs hot and whole. Now they keep a cold canister of «Meatball mix» and nuke it in a roll when you order. Instead of whole meatballs, they’re diced up. So really what you’re getting is a meat sauce sub that’s been nuked to temperature. I understand business is business and won’t beat up their rating for this, but it should be known that corners were cut and it cost them business.

Amazing store with great food. Many top quality brands. This is best supermarket in the area! They also have a great selection of wines in most of their stores.

Overall, a good grocery store, but could use a couple improvements. The customer service here is usually pretty good, everyone seems to know where everything is and more than willing to help out. The meat they sell is good, and they have an actual meat counter vs. all prepackaged. The strip steak I bought was excellent on the grill. The food they sell at the deli is good, but it seems like kind of a small selection. Wish they had given a little more space to this area. I LOVE that they have Boars Head everything, especially the London Broil. Very good. They have a small selection of gourmet cheese, I found a nice piece of Gruyère that was very reasonably priced. They always have fresh breads which they will slice for you, which is wonderful. Always samples out as well. Produce area was a bit of a disappointment, it would have been nice to have more organic and/or local options. This is probably the single biggest thing holding me back from giving a 5 star. Having said all that, It’s better than Giant, Food Lion(ew) or pretty much any other grocery store on the strip. One of the area’s few Starbucks is an added bonus.

Best grocery store in the Fenwick Island/northern end of Ocean City area. You can pre-order online and pick up your groceries on the way to the beach. Head and shoulders over the other stores in the area.

They have a lot, and some good food, but it’s kind of overpriced. And since I’m used to grocery costs in California, that’s saying something. I guess the key is to go there when the right items are on sale.

This is the only grocery store worth mentioning in the area. Its about a 15 minute drive from the Pines but well worth it. Other reviewers compared it to Wegmans and Whole Foods. I wouldn’t go that far but it is far superior to Food Lion and Super Fresh. The store is big and clean and the selection is great. Prices are fair as well and they do run some good specials with their club card. Highlights include the produce section, the deli counter, the butcher/seafood section and the bakery. They also have a sushi section and some good prepared foods.

I LOVE going to this store. I live about 14 miles from this store and go out of my way to shop here for the majority of my groceries. They run some really good specials like buy 2/get 3 free on things like Chicken and it saves you a ton of money if you catch a good week. The store has always been clean when I’ve gone in and the staff has been friendly and helpful. They also have local produce which I have yet to see in other local grocery stores in the area. I can find some items cheaper in other stores and will tend to go there for other things that aren’t on sale but I still strongly recommend this store and love going there

WOohooo! Finally this area gets a much needed specialty grocery store! This is a chain from the South, and is a highly welcomed resident now on the Eastern shore. This store is comparable to Wegman’s, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe’s. Wonderful staff, amazing fish choices and prices! Beautiful fresh produce, yummy breads, tasty cheese, and lots of free samples! They also have a Sat. rib special for $ 7.99 which beats any price on the Eastern shore and is much better than what most of the restaurants down here serve. Check it out! Not as busy as Food Lion, Superfresh, or Giant, and much better quality for your money! Wish we had one out here!
