I’ve spent a lot of money here over the years but I’m done. I went yesterday and purchased 6 Stone 22oz bottles that were each $ 10 and they wouldn’t give me their 10% off mix a 6 deal. «Sorry, that’s only for 12 oz» I told them that every place gives 10% no matter the size and my response was greeted with silence.
Even when I was getting the beers I asked an employee where the boxes were and he pointed to the front. How could he not even offer to get one for me? People just don’t do their jobs anymore.
I’ll be going to Nikki’s in providence from now on and suggest other craft beer fans do the same.

Glad I just drove 20 minutes to find out they closed at 6:00. They should really change the hours on their website to 6:00 instead of 7:00 on Sunday. What a PITA.

Cheap, convenient one stop liquor store! Jay was super helpful and accommodating when I came in to prepare for a bachelorette party.

Every time I visit, I like this place a little less.
The locked up bottles make me crazy, considering they lock up bottles that aren’t really worth that much. They now have anti-​theft tops on the Grey Goose too. Sometimes service can be a bit terse and while I used to love the selection, I’ve been going to other stores that have a better selection lately.
It’s certainly convenient enough, and I’ll stop in when in the area, but it’s no longer my first choice.

Spending most of my legal drinking age time in Chicago I was spoiled by the liquor store chain, Binny’s. Upon moving to Rhodie we lived downtown Providence and the only liquor store I knew was the one on Atwells that was very high priced.
Since our kids go to school in Barrington (this is prior to us moving to Barrington) we happened upon Gasbarro’s. This was the closest thing we found to Binny’s in Chicago. They both had/​have a fantastic selection of very well competitively priced inventory. The staff here is no where near as friendly or helpful as our local booze barn, but the prices make it too attractive to pass by.

This place is near my grandma’s in Riverside, RI, so I go there when I’m in town. 4-​stars because it’s just what you need! It has a good selection, is never crowded, and the people are nice. I haven’t worked with anyone there to get opinions on wine or anything like that… it doesn’t really feel like that kind of place, which is why I put 4-​stars instead of 5.

Super selection. Friendly staff. What else can I say about a liquor store? Lots of free parking. Cheap and tax free in MA!

Yes it is true they have a huge selection of wine, beer and other liquors. They have aisles upon aisles of selections and you can even mix up a 6pk of craft beers made from all over US. Even if you like that the staff is always rude and never helpful (again last night). Close to the highway so it’s convenient grabbing something before a group get together. Prices range from low to expensive.

Although this isn’t my local liquor store, it’s local to a friend of mine, and when I visit her it’s a very good excuse to stop at Chris Gasbarro’s to stock up. The prices here are probably the best in the area. I got a much better deal on a new (large) bottle of Blueberri Stoli than I did when I bought one at the liquor store near my house in Cranston. It may not be convenient for anyone who doesn’t live nearby, but if you plan on being in the area and need to stock up your liquor cabinet, it’s definitely the place to go!

Chris Gasbarro’s Fine Wines & Spirits is essentially a warehouse chock full of a wide variety of wine’s, liquors, and beers. Conveniently located across from Stop & Shop, I am able to stop by here for a bottle of wine to pair with dinner, grab a six-​pack to enjoy during football snacking, or find the perfect after dinner spirit to sip on. Two refrigerated sections (one of wine, the other of beer), along with aisles and aisles of wines and liquor make up the majority of this establishment. There is also a redemption center with a separate entrance on the side.
Personally, not the most informed on wine pairings… staff are always helpful in pointing out my best options and which among them are their favorites or well-​reviewed. Most employees appear enthusiastic about helping customers… most times there is someone roaming around, offering assistance to those who look lost or undecided. I have left here discovering a number of now favorite drinks to indulge in.
Prices can be expensive at times but for the most part… are competitive and reasonable. There are a number of «End of Bin» sales and they have a small rack of rebate coupons to use on certain purchases. There are a number of other conveniences available in-​store… carts and hand baskets, a wall of empty boxes to package your purchases (or to bring home to package things to move!), gifting materials like fancy bags, and even pre-​packaged gift baskets.
What this place lacks in overall great pricing they make up for in selection. I am willing to pay a couple more bucks for the convenience of one stop shopping.

Went for their Fall Wine Tasting. About 15 different tables, each pouring about 5 – 7 different bottles of wine. Anything from Sparkling wines to varieties of red, varieties of white, varieties of rose. Dessert wines, dry wines, robust wines, you name it… they had it all.
They also have a nice spread of cheese, crackers, small pork loin fennel sandwiches, grapes and french bread…
The tasting is free and they offer a 10% discount to all the wines being tasted.
Great experience for those who want to try different labels.

This place has a great selection, good prices and excellent customer service. My only complaint is that they don’t do too well with the craft beer selection, but it has improved in recent years, and they’re open to suggestions. A few years back they were good enough to special order me a case of Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy (I’m from the Midwest, and it wasn’t super popular in RI at the time). They were more than happy to oblige, and even followed up with me to make sure they were getting the correct product.
They have a crazy huge selection of wines a good amount of beer (and a walk in cooler) and good sales and specials. This is more of my ‘stock up on staples’ store rather than a ‘try something new and exciting’ place, but who cares, staples and staples, and when I can get a flat of ‘Gannsett at a good price from these guys on my way back from a trip to Target, you bet I’m going to do it.

I’ve been coming here for years. When it comes to craft beer, it’s not the best (that title goes to Yankee Spirits), but the selection is very diverse and I usually end up trying something new nearly every time I go. Despite this, I find it funny that 90% of the people that come in here for beer end up walking out with a case of Bud Light. Broaden your horizons!
One problem I do have with the craft beer section is many of the craft beers are well past expiration. Once a beer gets to this point, it should be offered at a discount. Instead, it sits on the shelf and ends up with a thick layer of dust.
In terms of pricing, very rarely do I feel like I’ve gotten a «deal», but the prices are reasonable.
My last couple of trips, the staff has been very helpful. I’ve had to purchase some rare, fancy liquers for various parties I’ve hosted/​attended, and they were more than happy to offer suggestions or point me in the right direction.

I stopped in here a few months ago and I’m so glad I did — not only does Gasbarro’s have a great selection, but the prices are pretty good as well. While looking around at the vodka selection I noticed tons of coupons and mail in rebate things, I ended up being able to get two 1.75 bottles for less than the cost of one. I’m usually not so frugal, but who doesn’t a good deal?
Also, compared to every liquor store I’ve been to in Providence this place has an awesome selection of gin.
The employees I encountered were friendly and helpful. All in all I had a good experience and will definitely be back.

We stopped here for some beer. The place has a good beer selection that includes some of our favorites: North Star Brewery, Heavy Seas, Allagash, Mayflower, Rogue, Flying Dog, Dogfish Head, belgians (an entire rack), Smuttynose, Wachusetts, Brooklyn, and many more). However, I think it is very weird that, instead of having a separate section for «make your own six pack» people just pull out of the six packs on the shelves. That said, if you want a six pack of a craft brew, count the number of bottles in the box before you get to the register! Very odd indeed.
Prices seem a bit high, so I don’t think we’d make a special trip to this store, but it’s a convenient stopping place near all the other stores in Seekonk.

The employees know nothing about beer, wine and liquor at this store. The prices are inflated despite what the advertisements say. The selection, particularly on wine is mediocre at best. The owner, Chris, once helped me and I was astonished at his lack of knowledge. It’s hilarious that there is a BJ’s opening next door. Too bad Chris, too bad.

Overall, convenient with a decent selection. The prices are not terribly expensive, with occasional sales that even tempt me into buying 1.5L of Johnny Black. I just wish the staff can be a bit more helpful with the whiskey selection. But still worth coming here.

I’ve been going to Gasbarro’s since I moved to Seekonk six years ago and it’s a really nice store. They have a wide variety of beer and wine and some of the staff really know their beers, like they *really* know their stuff which makes me feel very inferior! I find the staff very helpful; I bought my brother a variety six-​pack of Dogfish Head for Christmas and the guy at the register spent some time telling me what his favorites were out of the ones I bought.
My only suggestion is if you want to buy lottery tickets you should buy them from the counter in the main store and do NOT enter via the can/​bottle redemption door. My god the place reeks and you’ll have to shower 3x to get the old beer smell off of you. Just a friendly warning.

The selection is rather wide and they advertise the «lowest prices in New England Guaranteed!», but that’s just their advertising slogan. The prices are about what you’ll find at other liquor stores in the area or about an avg of $ 5 more for hard liquors. I went to the customer service desk to see if they would honor their lowest price claim and told them the same bottle of skyy vodka they were selling for 18.99 sold for 12.99 at Yankee Spirit Liquors in Attleboro I was told they would not sell it to me at the $ 12.99, even after I suggested they call them to verify my claim.
So unless this is about one of the few stores you can walk to in the area, I’d suggest going to Yankee Spirit Liquors in Attleboro as the selection is even wider and the prices even cheaper.
