Always a great experience with Bobby Russell. As a traveling wedding photographer we encounter numerous DJ’s, and until now, had not made the initiative to write a Unilocal review. Bobby always has a smile, can read the crowd and match the music very well, and always with respect. His clever timing shows his experience with all ages and all types of events. Any Bride would not be disappointed.

Bobby Russell of Sedona sounds has got to be the greatest DJ ever! Ok so I’m probably slightly over exaggerating, but he’s a darn good DJ that’s for sure. We hired him for our wedding in Sedona. He was simultaneously respectful, clever, witty and generally incredibly good at reading a crowd. He mingled with the guests asking for suggestions but was never hard to find. He always had a smile on his face, even when we were faced with the threat of monsoon (it didn’t monsoon by the way).
He did an amazing job learning our processionals to play on acoustic guitar. Both our processional songs were untraditional contemporary/​alternative rock pieces that he played BEAUTIFULLY and learned in a period of two weeks because I was having trouble making up my mind. His price tag may seem a little steep, but he is truly worth every penny. I would recommend him up and down to everyone and anyone. He is professional, courteous, and very responsive to calls and emails. Plus he gets the whole crowd bogeying down!

Bobby rocks. We held our wedding in Sedona this past January. Bobby was amazing and a big reason for the success of our wedding party. His state of the art DJ equipment and song selection kept our friends and family dancing all night long.
What really separated Bobby apart from the other DJ services in Sedona was his personal involvement and help in our organizing a musical performance we put together for the wedding party. Bobby supplied us with top musical equipment (guitars, bass, drums, amps, mixers, mikes, and PA) he helped setting this up and MCing the songs.
I highly recommend Sedona Sounds for DJ and musical services.
