Murph’s was the only local store open at 8 pm on a Sunday night. Not only did the store serve wine but we got to meet the owner, Ann, and she was amazing! Stop in if you’re ever in town and spend some time chatting with her. It’s worth it.

What a place! We were able to sing a wonderful Irish Christmas song with Ms. Murphy, get yummy snacks and she even helped us find a scary movie on DVD. We consider her our Sedona friend. Happy times from Alberto and Mardee. Los Angeles, CA.

We walked in here just looking for water for our hike but we left with so much more than that. And the owner, Ann, was incredibly helpful and incredibly charming on top of that. We learned of her background and it was very inspirational as we are looking for signs about possibly making a move out to this area as well or probably Tucson. Ann, thank you for your stories and the tips on where to hike on our last day in Sedona. If you are staying in Sedona and don’t want to drive to CVS or Walgreens for some essentials, save the time and gas and stop by Murph’s. And be sure to talk to Ann.
