I had been to this location several times and used to dread coming here. There was no Customer service and never a enough registers.
I went on Sunday and had the best experience ever. Staff was friendly and willing to help and did it with a smile. I was in and out quickly.

Costumer service on returns and exchanges are the worst ever there was skinny young guy he was high on something or something was wrong with his attitude and simple things not understanding. I would never go to this store again. And I think such big company like this has to have better work crew with better attitude.

This location of Babies R Us is my usual go-​to spot. I’d say I frequent the store 1 – 4 times per month, for about the last year. I’ve had both good and bad experiences. Overall, their stock of items is usually pretty good and I can find some great deals while shopping. One of the cons is definitely service. There tends to be a lack of cashiers, and workers who don’t know what they’re doing. While there today I surprised by a very friendly and helpful manager who greeted us and showed us on our way, even though we didn’t need it. I’m hoping he sticks around there! A couple bad experiences:
I bought a potty for my daughter, and upon arriving home opened it. It was USED! And still dirty with some other child’s’ pee. I was really disgusted that it would be restocked and took it back and returned it. On the bright side, management offered us 5% off on a purchase of anything in the store for our troubles and stated it was not policy to restock these items.
Today we went to look at a convertible car seat. It was $ 300, but $ 240 if purchased online and could then be picked up in store. We liked it and decided to buy it, but the purchase wasn’t working on the phone. The rep in the furniture department helped us order it– thank you, but then told us we had to wait 5 days to pick it up. What?!? I knew this was wrong and she didn’t know what she was talking about, so we took it up to customer service and were on our way in a few minutes.

Shopping at this babies r us can be like shopping in a ghost town. Although whatever staff you do find is friendly and willing to help you have to FIND someone first. They never staff the registers appropriately (and sometimes the floor too, but that’s another tale). Today I should have gotten in and out considering it’s 2pm on a Thursday. I found someone to help me get what I needed in a flash but I spent more time looking for an open register, finding one on the opposite side of the store (which incidentally was the opposite side of where I parked) and waiting for that one customer with a 1000 items to be rung up (and of course she had items that needed to be looked up which the cashier herself couldn’t find anyone to help find the price of the item). It would have been faster to order it online and wait the 2 days for delivery then purchase it at the store. It’s not a bad babies r us but it sure as hell could be better!

The worst customer service! I ordered an item online for in-​store pickup. Arrived after I received the email that my order was ready and waited 15 minutes for them to bring the item up to customer service. Fortunately I checked before leaving the store because it was totally the wrong item! We ended up spending over 30 minutes in the store and walked out without what we’d ordered. A total waste.
I will definitely not be shopping here again.

The store is big and usually has what I am looking for but I give it two stars because he staff here is rude and condescending.

Pathetic staff — I placed an order online for store pickup. Went 4 hours later to get my one item, a small accessory kit for a medela pump. Took 30 minutes in store to receive the item. I could’ve just grabbed it from the shelf and checked out faster. Every time I asked the staff at the front what was taking so long, they would say the guy in the back was busy. If I had known there was a lone guy in the back that needed to walk the product up front, I wouldn’t have ordered it from here. I wish I could have 30 minutes of my life back.

Really Huge Store!!! Wish I was still a kid!!!
It can get CRAZY in there during peak hours. Wide selection of almost everything.
Kept really clean and really bright.
Checkout can be slow at times. Cashiers have too much to do. Up selling and warranties.

Service? WHAT SERVICE?
There’s plenty of staff here, but don’t expect much help from them. The cashiers would rather chat with their coworkers than do their job and ring you up. I’m usually not one to complain about things like this, particularly in retail, but I’ve been here a handful of times and it’s always the same.
For once, Toys R Us, just for once … can your cashiers just ring me and my one item up before resuming their meaningless conversations with their friends? Jeez!
Oh, and on another note, can you price your games a little closer to your competitors? Why is a game that’s priced at $ 39 everywhere else priced at $ 65 in your store? One to two dollar differences are easily overlooked, but $ 26!!! Really!!!

I am a frequent ‘Babies R Us’ shopper and i couldn’t be happier with the assistance I ALWAYS receive as I shop at tge store! All of the employees are helpful and friendly, especially Vicky D. Vicky D. Is a sweet lady whom always greets me with a bright smile. She knows her baby products!

Store itself is okay — relatively clean and decently stocked, but checkout takes FOREVER. Many days there is only one or two registers open with a long line of people waiting to check out at each.

First and foremost… This Toys R Us is brand new. Very clean, very organized, and best of all… Always stocked up.
The people here are very friendly and helpful, and I would definietly recommend this place to everyone. Get here early, cause they sell out of the popular toys fast.

Thank you Toys R Us staff in the bedding and furniture department for letting me hold for over 10 minutes. When I hang up and call back and tell you of my wait you become furious and tell me you are busy. I apologize — are you not there to help me shop?
When I ask you if you have the toddler bed in stock you proclaim you do not and immediately hang up. You do not wait to see if I am looking for another bed or direct me to another store that might have it in stock. You just hang up!
Thank you buy buy baby for having employees that will listen. I was able to purchase a toddler bedroom set in under 10 minutes. The same wait time with toys r’ us and will have it in a few days.
Secaucus employees are rude and unhelpful. From now on I will shop at buy buy baby, giggles, bambi for my child’s needs.

Surprisingly, this store wasn’t too crowded a few days before Xmas.
Every checkout was open and the shelves were stocked.

Jessica S. is completely correct about watching out for the prices at the register.
This store has friendly employees and a pretty decent selection of stuff, BUT… unlike many stores that allow the customers to see the prices of the items as it rings up, this one does not. Normally, not a problem, however — I would say that 70% of my purchases have pricing error issues (and none of those errors are in my favor, if you know what I mean).
A few examples:
There are many sales where an extra 25% can be taken off of all items of a particular brand as long as you purchase 3 or more items. Check your receipts CAREFULLY as one of our items did not get that discount (but the other 6 did).
Double check anything on clearance or that has been marked down to make sure that the discount (which all the signs say will be taken at the register) is actually taken (40% of winter coats for babies needed to be applied manually by a store manager even though the sign for the sale was large enough that the cashier could see it from the register).
Clothing on racks with signs that all items are $ 7 is suspect. Usually you figured that some other customer just put an article of clothing back in the wrong place. but when there are 6 shirts of the same design on that one rack (and none of them ring up as the advertised price)… you start to wonder if these are mis-​labeling issues.
Bottom line… there are some good deals here, and a good selection of items as well. Just be ready to stand in line at the customer service/​return desk as soon as you make your purchase because you’re bound to find something wrong with how your purchase was rung up.
Final note — there is a rewards program (free to join) that sounds awesome. You get a good % of $$ back in printable store coupons for purchases made… however, instead of the promised 3 weeks you get from the time the coupon issues to the time the coupon expires, expect to only get 5 days (+/​-​2 days). This is (probably) because the store really doesn’t want you to use these price saving options… So they will tell you that your coupons will likely be made available by a certain date… but it won’t and only the super dedicated who check in all the time will be able to use the points/​$$ they’ve accrued.

Beware: pricing errors galore! SIX times in the past 3 months items I purchased have rung higher than advertised on the store shelves. Watch the register carefully!!!
If you have been to a Toys R Us /​Babies R Us elsewhere this store really falls short.
The store is fairly new, and like any Toy R Us it carries a good variety of products, and the sales floor is generally clean, but that is pretty much it.
Merchandise is often misplaced and sales personnel are hard to track down. The clearance areas are a disaster. The restrooms (ladies) have always been dirty and foul-​smelling (any parent knows this is a big deal at a children’s store!)
Hopefully they will improve — I would be happy to write a more positive review if the do.
