Snip N’ Clip Dog Grooming

Kevin is a great groomer. My dog hates getting her nails cut. Kevin suggested the dremmel/​filer thing as opposed to cutting, because its less pressure on the nail (which is probably what makes them uncomfortable) — worked like a charm! we were in and out in no time, and i love that I can wait inside, or stand right next to her while she’s getting her nails cut

Love this place!!! My dog was «very bad» at other groomers supposedly… Walked in on one and she had a muzzle on my dog and was very traumatized. Found Kevin at Snip and Clip and been going here for 10years!!! I have 2 dogs now and they are well taken care of cuts are cute. They are not nervous when I get them!!! Kevin is the best they trust him. Would highly recommend him! Prices are good. You won’t be disappointed with his experience and control of your dog!

I googled «dog grooming for difficult dogs ni» and Snip and Clip was one of the first few to come up. My Bichon-​Poodle had been to a groomer 2 times before and the groomer was not able to cut her and suggested I sedate her. I called snip and clip and Kevin was totally against me sedating my dog and told me it wasn’t necessary. Let me say this man is the dog whisperer! My dog was done in an hour and a half (she’d been kept 6 hours at the previous groomer!) and she looked adorable. There were no behavior complaints, my dog was fine. She was not stressed at all after either. Prices are very reasonable and he doesn’t crate the dogs!

Today was the first time I used Kevin to groom my dog. My dog’s past groomer would not take my dog unless he was sedated because they couldn’t handle him. I was recommended to Kevin by one of my friends who has a dog who is hard to groom as well. My dog was stress free and had his haircut without any issues! I love the fact that he doesn’t cage the dogs while he finishes with any other dog he is grooming. This guy is the best around and knows what he is doing ! I would highly recommend his services to anyone!

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! First time we brought our dog here, it was a great experience, he looked so fresh and clean, they were efficient, loving to our big guy and so reasonably priced. However for about 2 weeks our dog was was scratching like CRAZY!!! It must of been their shampoo, which is odd because they use Hypoallergenic but maybe it just reacted badly with him! We out sourced our own shampoo to give it a try, they were totally accommodating and BAM a beautifully shiny dog with no scratching! So happy with them, don’t even care that we have to bring our own shampoo because they are so good at what they do and you could tell our big guy had a great time and made some new friends!!!

Kevin is really great at his job! We have been bringing my 4 year old maltese to him since she was a puppy. We live in Jersey City, but heard about this place through my sister who has been bringing her yorkie to him for years. He obviously puts the dogs at ease because she is always calm when I pick her up (and she is definitely a nervous dog). Her cuts are always cute. She comes out looking all pretty and clean. And his prices are great… Especially compared to jersey city prices. Can’t complain!

I have been bringing my dog here for 3 years and my sister has been binging hers for 6 years.
I get super creative. I even ask him to do some fun cuts as well. Such as: lion haircuts, poodle haircuts, and just a regular haircut. Kevin nails it 95% everytime. So if you have a schnauzer or a poodle Kevin can deffinitley take care of you. He even does color dye
The best part is when I brought my dog to the pets smart in Secaucus they charged us an extra $ 10 because they said my dog was challenging. Ever since then I brought him to Kevin and I ask him everytkme if he was difficult in anyway and he say absolutely «not»
People often just bring their dog and ask for a summer cut or a trim and aren’t specific and may get it too short. I always tell him exactly how long or short I want it and that’s what he gives my dog.

Absolutely love this place. The owner is very nice and the grooming is top notch. Have brought my dog here numerous of times and always leave happy. Not too expensive for the great work that they do. Lets put it this way, I don’t even live in secaucus but I’m more than willing to take the ride out here. :-D

I’m surprised this place doesn’t have more reviews! Snip’n Clip was our go-​to groomer for over 3 years, but now that we’re on the West coast it’s hard to find such a good replacement. We took both our small dogs there, and Kevin was always great with them and very patient. His schedule was always pretty flexible too which was a huge help. I really miss this place!

The Owner, Kevin is a wonderful person on top of being one of THE BEST Dog Groomers I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I have worked at 3 different groomers myself and I have never seen dogs come out of a groomer so stress free and absolutely beautiful!
I have 2 Huskies with an undercoat that seems to come in every 2 weeks! Kevin never complained about how much work they were, he would just laugh while showing us the 32 Gallon pail full of their hair :)
If you live in or near Secaucus and love your dog, then there is no other groomer you should be going to! Sadly my husband and I moved to Long Island recently and I am in desperate search of a groomer! We miss you Kevin! XOXO
