My first visit took place last night when I took my family to see Captain America: Civil War. I was very impressed. The seating is incredibly comfortable. Large recliners with ample armrest room. The theater itself is smaller than what I’m accustomed to, but it makes for a more intimate viewing experience so I found it to be very cool. The service Kerasotes provides for its members are top notch. The ticket prices are fantastic. Free small popcorn WITH free refills. Adequate parking surrounded by numerous places to dine. I also noticed there were more families and couples than most theaters I’ve frequented but it could’ve simply been the time we arrived.
I definitely recommend this place for serious moviegoers that like to enjoy a good film without all the unnecessary hoopla.

Very comfortable seats and good location near restaurants if you wanna kill time before a movie starts with some grub. I love the fact it was clean I didn’t like the reservation of seats and having to be forced sit somewhere based on placement but other than that nice theater

We have been here too many times to count. Ever since the redesign years ago with the new seats it’s been an amazing experience. Of course prices are high for food but that any movie theater.
Seats and theaters are comfortable and clean all the time.

Best movie theater around. They always have great deals going on for certain times and just all around great theater. Clean, friendly employees and can’t beat the reclining seats!

Theater is always clean. Comfy reclinable seats. Staff is always pleasant and helpful. Love this theater. I think it’s the beast theater in Bergen County.
Can’t wait to visit again soon.

I love the reclining chairs. Going to see the movies will never be the same because I am now spoiled. It’s so comfy. Im almost afraid to fall asleep every time. There’s never a long line here. Parking is never an issue. The theater is super clean and the best part is the staff is very accommodating. We were able to switch movie times without problems.

We used to live in Bergen County and our go-​to place was Starplex Cinemas… And I think I found my go-​to one here! It is Kerasotes Showplace! So why do I like this place? First off, the prices are great. Very inexpensive. Also, it is very clean. You don’t see that much popcorn on the floor or messy countertops. Staff is friendly. And best part yet, the la-​z boy seats! Very comfortable. No complaints here. Just pure enjoyment!

This is one of my favorite theatres, mainly because they have the seats that recline and you can reserve it so you don’t have to go early and try to get a good seat. It makes attending the movies so much more enjoyable. The seats are very comfy and always clean whenever I sit down.
One big complaint that makes this a 3 star review is that I went to see Captain America Civil War and they played the wrong movie. The employees came out and apologized and said they would change the movie, but after 10 minutes sitting and nothing happening, finally the employees came back and instead they had us move to a different auditorium in the theatre. This was a huge inconvenience and my group was very annoyed by this. Our movie was by a whole hour and we had to watch previews all over again.
However, at the end they did give everyone in the audience a ticket for a free movie. It’s only good for 30 days which is kind of annoying because I’ve had this happen at other theatres and their passes don’t expire.
Overall I would come back to this theatre but they need to up the customer service more and keep the audience more informed so we don’t waste an hour waiting now for a movie.

I had this place bookmarked for awhile and finally made it here. It was a Sunday afternoon and the parking lot was full, had to park all the way in the back.
We didn’t buy tickets in advance but there were some available when we got there and buying them through the machine was a breeze.
I had just ate so I didn’t get anything from the concession stand but it looked like they had the usual popcorn, pizza, cheese nachos.
I’m a really big fan of assigned seats and especially recliner chairs.
We sat in the third row since those were the only seats available but it was still super comfortable and I enjoyed the movie.

App is also great because you can buy tix and show the phone to the staff. No need to pick up tickets when you get there after buying tix thru their app

Experience– 20 minutes into the movie sound goes out and continues to play for about 10 m ore minutes. Sound comes back on after 10+ minutes and they attempt to rewind the movie. No luck as they don’t go back far enough. a few minutes in they try again but fail miserably. 3^rd attempt, they go back to the beginning then they go forward a bit.
At this point I’ve had enough. I got a refund.
I’m sure sh*t happens so I’ll give them another shot soon.

I came here for opening night of Star Wars. Their marketing team said on FB it was okay to bring in light sabers. Then when you get to the door, they told you something else and made everyone go back to their cars. Finally, after reviewing my friend’s FB account, they let them in.
The seats are comfortable and you get to reserve your seats beforehand, awesome!
The staff at the concession stands were quick and efficient.
However, I wish more theaters were like Alamo Draft House where they made sure people didn’t talk loudly through the movie. Not their fault but would be a nice additional service.

Pretty standard movie theater, since a lot of them have those awesome reclining seats now. But here, you can reserve your seats prior to show time which is pretty convenient. Like all theaters, tickets are pretty overpriced, as are the concessions, but it is a clean theater.
Parking isn’t terrible, but it is really congested because lots of people are trying to park really close. Just walk the extra 10 seconds and park further away.

HUGE parking lot with even BIGGER leather reclining seats, there’s nothing to dislike about this theater. The seating is assigned which I love. I used my fandango app and purchased 4 tickets which were saved to my phone’s home screen. No waiting in line and no fuss. Easy as pie.
The theaters are kept clean, the employees are extremely courteous and the snack bar has a large selection. They’ll even mix the red and the blue flavors into one slushie if you ask ;)
Secaucus is also a nice part of town where you don’t fear being mugged when walking to your car after a late-​night showing. That’s always a plus!

Wow, this place has stepped up its game since my last visit! You now get assigned seating, which is awesome. It eliminates all those awkward moments for late comers. So really, get there early for a movie.
We came on a Tuesday afternoon so we had the theater to ourselves. The seats are giant, plushy reclining chairs that are so damn comfy. If I was stuck watching a rom-​com I could have easily gotten a nap in too.
Prices are fair enough, let’s be honest we know you are getting hosed on concessions, that’s how they make money. On Tuesday’s you get a free small bag of popcorn which is great. The service is pretty good and the theater clean.
I hope more theaters follow this model, this is the absolute way to go when seeing a flick. Especially now that a movie ticket is so expensive it’s nice to know some luxury is thrown in.

Movie theatre is cool because all the chairs recline and you can select your own seats. However online they charge a fee which sucks.
On Tuesday your get discounted tickets and free popcorn. You can put your butter and salt on your popcorn. Also get free refills on all drinks on Tuesday as well.
The popcorn is small so if you usually need a large popcorn. You will have to refill a few times but it’s free.

Free is for ME and Tuesday is the place to be for Kerasotes — yup it’s Free Popcorn day! Another cool fact is once a movie has been out for two weeks, you get matinée pricing at any time of day! Then they top all of this off with recliner seating! Love it here.
So after we got our tickets, it was time to check out the popcorn situation! If you like layered butter on your popcorn then head to the furthest left line — yup they don’t add butter for you. It was tedious walking back and forth 3 – 5 times but sometime ya gotta do what ya gotta do! It was cool since the popcorn and soda refills are FREE!
Now to the awesome seating. It’s reserved seating so choose wisely. The handicap seats are ground entry level so use that as your marker. Before handicap gets you closer to screen like right on top of it and behind handicap gets you to eye level with screen. We love rows E and F in the dead center!
Finally parking is ok here and I guess it depends on your movie time. The green parking spots are for «retail only» and have 3 hour time slots. Not sure how heavy this is enforced but just putting it out there. I know we will return as its close to home, awesome clean place, free refills and all movies have recliners! #Winning. I miss you Kerasotes Secaucus! Do you miss me too? I vow that every time I come to visit my family, I’ll visit you too.
You simply can’t beat the ticket prices, especially if you’re willing to wait two weeks to see a movie. You’ll only pay $ 6.50. Definitely can’t find a deal like that in the DC-​area, especially when you consider all of the creature comforts that they offer here!
1) newly renovated theaters with reclining seats and cup holders
2) reserved seating
3) you can buy tickets online without any additional fees when logged into your kerasotes app
4) reasonably priced popcorn and soda with one free refill for same day purchases
5) plenty of parking (albeit, it can be a bit of a walk) and plenty of close dining options
6) a decent game room and a nice birthday room for kids
7) relatively clean and maintained bathrooms
8) courteous employees that includes an announcement about the location of all exits and instructions to turn off cell phones before every movie
9) both regular and 3-​d movies are available (the hubby doesn’t like 3-​d so it’s nice that both are available
10) free popcorn to Kerasotes members on Tuesdays
11) a Kerasotes annual membership is FREE! Nada! Nothing! Gotta love free.
Overall, this is a spectacular theater, especially for the price you pay. You can complain about the limited menu, the lack of nearby parking, no IMAX, etc. but know that if they had all that, tickets would go from $ 6.50-$ 12.00 to $ 13-​$ 20 just like in the DC and/​or NYC areas. This movie theater is plenty luxurious for me! Thanks Kerasotes!

By far my new favorite movie theater! I’m a big movie lover so I like to try new theaters if it means it will enhance my movie experience.
I used to be a AMC movie fan UNTIL I recently finally decided to try this theater out. Honestly you can’t beat the price they have for their relaxing reclining seats & finger food they have to offer.
My only disappointment is not coming here sooner. They have unlimited same day refills on popcorn and soda (Any size) you can buy your tickets at the kiosk, online, or in person.
However the only problem I have noticed is that if you want to watch a movie that was recently released you will have a better chance getting and reserving tickets online to make sure you get good seats and next to one another. They can sell out pretty quickly.
Bathrooms are pretty spacious and have always been neat & clean when I’ve used them.
There is a lot of restaurants and hotels around so there’s plenty of parking but it does get pretty busy so sometimes you might not find parking close by and end up having to walk a bit. (if that’s the biggest problem, I’ll take it.)
