History

Established in 1988.

In November 2014, after 29 years on Route 3 in Secaucus, Bareli’s was taken over by a new four-man management team, which includes Vincent Ponte, one of the restaurant’s previous partners, and Robb Welch, its chef since 2006. By December, the team — with new partners Liam Moloney and Tommy Stabile — had gutted the place and installed a much fresher, brighter look. Bareli’s now has a 20-seat bar and a 76-seat dining room with dark armchairs that help retain the old indulgent feeling.
