Tiny Tots Preschool

This pre-​school is AS GOOD AS IT GETS!!! Woohooo! I can’t express in words how thankful I am that I tried out Tiny Tots. I noticed it had only one previous negative review here on Unilocal, (written back in early 2014) but I can tell you it has lots of happy kids and parents outside the world of «yelp.» I have tried several other daycare /​pre-​schools in the area and none have made us this happy. My 3 year old son literally wakes up every day excited to go to Tiny Tots! He is currently only attending 3 days a week and he gets sad when I tell him «no, today is not a school day.» He loves it so much I am considering enrolling him full time because he wants to go every day! These are the top 10 things I love about it:
1. Inspired, creative teachers that are full of energy and enthusiasm. They are so joyful here and love these kids! They really are warm, sweet and caring. Plus it is very well staffed.
2. Rotating projects and toys (new educational and creative toys out every day) your kids will not get bored! Also home made fresh play dough!!! Yay!
3. Fun themes — such as Ocean /​Beach theme (teachers have multiple displays to learn from, books, sensory tables, art projects that expand on each theme.
4. Safety! The doors to the school remain locked at all times. Your kids are safe here.
5. Flexibility: Set up your schedule as needed. Teachers are very reasonable and will work with you.
6. Healthy homemade food! The snack times are always super healthy. The school provides these and I am always very impressed. I have seen items like «veggies & hummus dip», and «rice bowl & veggies» (just a few examples).
7. Organization: This means a lot. This school is neat, clean and organized from the inside out! I love it. The school has a nice large space and multiple rooms plus a huge yard. And it is always picked up. Everything has a place. It also is organized at an administrative level. You will not be confused by your monthly invoice/​tuition bill. You will not be confused by the date it is due or the date you get a late fee, etc. This is all very clear. All policies are clear and simple. Also, any emails I have ever sent are promptly responded to. I appreciate this soooooo much!!!
8. They provide extended parent education days! I have not attended one of these yet, but I am excited to go soon!
9. Financially reasonable — in my opinion — the tuition fees are average.
10. Lots of out door play time!

So this place is run by Sebastopol Community Center located near downtown. And the teachers who work this child-​care center can be quality people (let me emphasize that point). Unfortunately, the Director at the Community Center has no background in child-​care.
Who knows about the continuity of the teachers/​care providers who will watch over your children. The Community Center only cares about business, filling the center with as many children as they can get, and they’ll change the care provider to whoever will do as they say. Absolutely ignoring the wishes of the parents.
13+ families left this Child Care Center after the Community Center decided to change teachers on the families without any noticed, and they’re too proud and privileged to rectify the situation or admit they made a bad decision. The Community Center is good at pleasantries, and busy work, but don’t be disillusioned into thinking they have your wishes or your children’s care in their minds.
