We offer ballet training for dancers age 3 through adults. We offer a fun environment for learning and thriving, and produce high-​level performances around the county.

History

Established in 1993.

Our studio started at the Sebastopol Community Center in 1993. In 2012 we moved into our own space, with 2 studios and sprung floors.

I took lessons from Sebastopol Ballet School for almost 10 years. I loved it and everyone was absolutely amazing. Everyone there is really dedicated to what they do. It was an incredible experience and I’m so glad I got to do it. I highly recommend this school!

The studio and instructors are great! My daughter had Ms. Lilly and enjoyed her class. They had a couple of «helpers» which was fantastice for the «pre ballet» age of 3ish. I’m only giving this place 3 stars becuase I think that the parents are a little rude! After our first class, at which I was a very obvious 7 months pregnant, not one parent got up to offer me a chair, and I sat on the ground for my daughters lesson! Tres rude. One of the little girls in class made fun of my little girl and the mom didnt really do anything about it. Alough, Ms. Lilly handled it just fine. I left with a bad «dance mom» taste in my mouth and decided that ballet was not going to be on our agenda.

My daughter is close to finishing up her first year at Sebastopol Ballet she started at 2 in a half and it has been so much fun to watch her and the other students learn and grow, she adores her teacher Miss Lilly and looks forward to class each week! The 3 year old class is laid back and fun for my daughter but she is still learning not only basic ballet positions but she knows the correct terminology too and loves to show off her plies and arabesques to everyone we know! We have had a great experience this year and cannot wait to continue on at Sebastopol Ballet for years to come!
