Specialties

Integrated Deep Tissue & Esalen Style Massage, Cranio-​sacral Therapy, Botanical Medicine Consultations, Transformational Life Coaching, Vitality Awakening and Empowerment Sessions (which can be done over the phone or Skype) are a specialty of mine.

Scheduling ahead of time and doing packages of several sessions is most recommended, but I will even accept last minute or same day appointments as available during times of spiritual emergency or crisis.

These sessions include various powerfully nurturing coaching and healing techniques as appropriate including Theta Healing, Herbal Medicine, Quantum Healing, Reiki, Conscious Languaging, Buddhist Techniques and Soul Retrieval.

History

Established in 2005.

Kristin Melissa O’Garvin-Grace created her business Lemon Balm Bodywork, after attending herb school in 2001 – 2003 and completing massage school in 2005. inspired by the calming, serene lemony mint plant with the Latin name Melissa Officinales, her mission is to bring greater peace to the world. Kristin carries and invokes plant spirit medicine and wisdom, and has strong guides that work through her. She has witnessed and will testify to the miracles available in this universe.

Kristin is Certified as a: Massage Therapist, Visionary Cranio-​Sacral Therapist; Nutritional, Earth Centered, Wise Woman, and Vitalist oriented Herbalist, & Theta Healer. She received her first level 1 Reiki attunement, in 1998 and completed a 9 month Reiki Master training in 2002. She began her teaching career while still in college, As a Speaker and Coordinator for the National Student Environmental Coalition and President of Equal, facilitating workshops at Universities around the East Coast, in Women’s Wellness and Empowerment. Kristin, nicknamed by friends as Pixie Magic, is an experienced, skilled and intuitive healer and coach, here to serve the greater good. She has studied at The Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies, Herb Pharm, Wisewomanhood, School of Shiatsu and Massage, James Madison University, Milne Institute, Nyingma, Tassajara Zen Center, Theta Healing Inc. and many other places along the way…

I have had 4 massages with Kristin so far, and there will be many more to come! I have already referred her to several of my clients and friends, as well as my physical therapist. Kristin helped me move past a debilitating/​shooting nerve pain going down my arm, and also supported me with the emotional content that accompanied it. Massage with her is not just a physically healing experience, but emotional and spiritual as well! She is attuned and gifted in her work, and I trust her completely. She has given me a wide range of massages depending on my needs, from deep pressure to release old injury traumas in a safe way, to a more soothing and soft integrative, purely relaxing approach. The first time I went to Kristin was simply for a massage, which I hadn’t had in a while. However, after experiencing the effects of my first treatment, I went back again and again.
Kristin is a very gifted healer. Not only did she work on my physical alignment, but her work prompted me to examine other patterns, habits, and blockages that were engrained in me on emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. Her gentle and compassionate approach helped me to be more gentle and compassionate with myself.
While I had originally intended to experience a bit of physical relief, I ended up feeling more aligned, centered, and connected to my being than I had before. Kristin’s healing sessions are powerful and beautiful to experience. With her Life Healing and Empowerment sessions she has been helping me with my blocks and emotions around trusting. I desired to be able to truly shine and be in my power, yet was feeling not fully able to and slightly shy due to past experiences. During the sessions, I felt like I was in a place where I was truly in communication with my highest self, totally embodied, and able to return into my past and my memory with this tremendous love and compassion. It was very helpful when she guided me into a Soul Retrieval session and talking with the 10-​year-​old me, and then I experienced filling the room in my memory with beautiful golden light. It’s been two weeks since our session, and I realize that the block we worked through has totally dissipated… my past is still the same, but it doesn’t really have the power it did before. What’s more, I’m actually seeing noticeable changes externally as well! From working through these blocks together, I am showing up in the world differently… better… Now I can’t actually remember what my blocks even were. They have been changed, replaced, healed. The present moment is really all that exists.
