In the past I loved this auto shop. The previous manager was polite and I trusted he would work with us, only do the work necessary and kept the price down. He was great. He is gone The new staff is rude, they give low estimates and then jack up the price. They are unprofessional and have overall poor reliability and customer care. I have had to call the owner and deal with him and he wasn’t much better. This was the case for how they treated me and my husband. The location is so convenient for me as it is close to my house but we will never go back. Certainly not a place especially for a woman to go.

These guys have become my go to mechanics in Sebastopol. I get all my oil changes here and they really take care of me. They’ve also done stuff that they’ve barely charged me for and done major work on my car. And when I had an issue while I was miles away I was able to call them for advice. Mario and Mario are a father and son duo that are a couple of their main employees and they totally rock. Super sweet, super knowledgeable — I’m so glad I found this place.

I just went in to check fuses as my sliding door would not open… they found the issue very quickly; I had inadvertently flipped a switch. No charge and polite, helpful, and in damsel in distress timing! Thank you!

I had a good experience with my smog check. Dropped of the car at my afternoon appointment time and they called within an hour to say it was ready. $ 70 for the smog check and paperwork. I had mentioned my low tire warning light had come on while I was driving there and they said they would check it out. The young guy forgot, so when I asked after paying my bill, he said to bring it around to the bay. Older guy checked all four tires and topped off the low one. They also took out the spare and filled that up, which I hadn’t checked in a while so that was helpful. Was nice they did that extra part for no charge.

Had my Honda starter replaced here because my regular mechanic was out-​of-​town and my car wouldn’t start. Thought it would be nice to give my local area business, however, it me cost about twice as much as my mechanic would have charged and was not an original Honda part.

I recently brought my 2008 HHR in for a smog check. After trying several times, they were unable to get a reading with the equipment that they had available. The mechanic was very courteous, and even located another shop nearby that was able to work on my vehicle immediately, which was very appreciated!

Originally spoke with Harvey who was very helpful to advise me what to try on my own to get my old truck to pass smog without their doing work (very nice). His suggestions didn’t work, so I brought it back and Alan helped me to figure out what work was really needed. He was knowledgable, courteous, responsive and did the work quickly and inexpensively. Nice people.
