Wish I could upload their contract for you to see. It is the most over-​the-​top I have ever seen in 10 years of hiring house cleaning companies, and does not set a positive relationship tone. They require that you give them your credit card/​bank card information up front. I recommend using a credit card, in case you have trouble, so you can more easily dispute the charge. They will charge you the highest price quoted, or more, even if they clean less than the quoted square feet. If they say the range is $ 66-​$ 110, just know the price is really $ 110. They want clients who will not complain about their high prices. If you don’t mind being over-​charged, you don’t mind them taking your payment information up-​front, and you don’t think their contract is ridiculous, go for it. You’ll probably be the right kind of client for them.

Crystal Clear Home has been wonderful! One full year of faithful service with no problems to speak of. Our is not an easy task and we, frankly speaking, have eccentric needs. Words cannot express how much I love coming home after my weekly cleaners have been here! And they are chemical free and all natural too. My house literally feels like it glows. They check on with me before and after each cleaning to see how they had done and whether or not there is anything extra they can do for me. They keep my house clean from top to bottom, walls, floorboards. And I have two young children so keeping the fingerprints off the walls is amazing! And, they are pretty inexpensive as well.

Rachel and Hailey did a fabulous «move out» clean when we moved my daughter and kids this week. They were punctual, personable and cleaned the place to a level that was better than when we moved in. The property manager thanked «us» for doing such a good job. We’re getting our full deposit back as a result. Crystal Clear Home’s process and staff are professional and refreshing — the eco-​friendly products they use are a big factor for us. We have engaged them to clean the new place on a regular basis.

This is an amazing service! You can tell by the quality that the cleaners really put their heart into their work. I would recommend Crystal Clear to anyone needing help around the house! The cleaners are friendly and accommodating, and the cleaning is very thorough! Attention to detail is a priority at the company and it shows! The cleaning products are Eco friendly, so I don’t have to be exposed to toxic chemicals. When you walk into your home after Crystal Clear has been there the whole place sparkles and smells like lavender!

Here goes my first-​ever negative review, which I am compelled to share with others considering this service:
I was very disappointed with my overall experience with Crystal Clear Home. The level of service, professionalism and follow-​through left much to be desired.
I asked for their highest level of service and was quoted what I thought to be a somewhat high price — but I decided to go for it. Unilocal reviews seemed mostly positive and I did want to have my house deep cleaned.
The cleaning team got there later than expected… and spent less time than was quoted. The bill was also 20% higher than quoted.
On the day of the cleaning, we arrived back home, just as the team was leaving. The ladies were pleasant (if a tad awkward) and we thanked them for their service. If only we had checked the house before they left. There were cobwebs in half of the rooms (despite having been promised that all rooms would be web-​free), some of the baseboards and cabinets were obviously untouched. Again, they failed to deliver as promised. There were many other small details that were missed but I won’t bore readers of this review. Suffice it to say that we felt that we were grossly overcharged for the less-​than-​promised level of service that we received.
Subsequently, I left a few messages for the service. After some time, I finally got a call back. When I calmly and very politely explained all of the reasons that I was not satisfied with the service, the lady I spoke with became immediately defensive. She never apologized. She never offered to make it right by sending the cleaners back to finish the work. She never offered a price adjustment. She merely said a very curt ‘bye’.
I am a business owner that takes immense pride in providing an extraordinarily great level of service, I have come to expect at least an ‘acceptable level’ of service. This, however, was a very poor level of service indeed.
As my fiancée put it, «That’s the worst $ 300 I ever spent!»

I am disabled and in constant pain, and I can’t clean, let alone to the standards I used to be able to maintain. I love that there is a company that cares so much that I don’t feel ashamed of my physical limits. The peace of mind I get from Crystal Clear Home cleaning my home is not just from the licensing and insurance… I’m pretty protective of my birds, and Kayla’s the one I trust for sure when it comes to their safety. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to treat my feathered children with the care and respect that Kayla and her crew provide them & me. I love the totality of care; it’s not just cleaning. It’s the importance that is placed on the well-​being of the inhabitants. The only thing I’m certain of is that as my pain gets worse, my physical and mental abilities take a downward turn with it. It is unlikely that I will ever recover fully, meaning that I will always be in need of their services. Due to my disabilities I look forward to my house getting clean as only Crystal Clear can provide. Daily activities can be very difficult on some of my worse days. Knowing that the team is coming to do the things I can’t is another source of peace of mind. Thanks to everyone there for being so helpful to me; it really means a lot. The job done by the crew in helping me deal with what my disability inhibits is so caring and compassionate, and far exceeds what I could ever expect. My deepest thanks to everyone at Crystal Clear Home.

As a mother of a 7 month old rolly polly baby, who loves to put just about everything in his mouth, it feels great to know i can trust this crew to keep things clean enough for him! Excellent work. Extremely reliable, honest and accepting of feedback. In fact, they leave a satisfaction card with every visit to keep close tabs on how the staff is performing!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Negative reviews that require several paragraphs should be taken with a grain of salt. If a reviewer has a habit of posting such rants (= more than one), the review should be disregarded as too personal, the reviewer – perhaps a little hot headed? I’ve been using Crystal Clear for the past 6 months for my new business in Sebastopol. I have pleasantly found them to be quick, efficient and thorough. The staff in the office have been great to work with, the price has been consistent and reasonable, even when I added a few items to the list of what needed to be done. The cleaning staff have been very conscientious to complete the job before we open our doors in the early am for business. And even at 7am, the staff are warm and welcoming!
I would highly recommend Crystal Clear Homes and will be using them for my home cleaning as well.

I have used Crystal Clear Home cleaning service for 5+ years. It is the only cleaning service company that I hire since then. I am allergic to commercial cleaning products. When I learned that they use environmental friendly products, I decided to give the service a try and they have always been satisfactory. They bring their own cleaning supplies and they are all eco friendly products, yet still managed to offer the service at a reasonable price range.
The crew is very details oriented and thorough. They cleaned my place in a very timely and professional manner.
They were very flexible about scheduling around my odd hours. They were able to fit me into a last minute appointment and did an excellent job. Sometimes I can’t be home during the schedule hours, I trust them with leaving my house key behind. They picked up the key, cleaned the place, and left unnoticed.
Overall, Crystal Clear Home cleaning crews are very friendly and provide efficient service! I would recommend Crystal Clear Home to my friends and continue using their service myself.

I have been using the services of Crystal Clear Home for 5 years, and I was amazed to read the 1 star review and allegations about their honesty and professionalism. in the 5 years I have been with them I have had several different crews, and not once have I had any occasion to think any one worker was dishonest or would steal from our home. None of the workers who has come to my home would ever be described as «Shady»!
The service I have received has always been more than satisfactory, and on the few times I have had a comment or question on the cleaning it has always been addressed promptly and politely. I contacted Crystal Clear because they specialize in Green Cleaning, and they always respond quickly to my comments or questions about environmentally friendly products.
Erika, the owner, has always been friendly and businesslike when I have had a reason to call her. I really admire her because she has really grown her business during the past 5 years and we have a few conversations about her goals for the future and what she hopes to accomplish. One of the things we have talked about is finding good employees (I used to own my own business) and how important it is to screen applicants carefully.
I can’t express too strongly how I disagree with the comments of writer «Ty J.» and how extremely different my long experience with Crystal Clear has been.

I really wish I could give them ZERO stars. Let me tell you now, avoid this place at all costs or it will just cost you later. It cost us a bottle of Dom Perignon. Had my house been full of stuff; it could have cost us much more.
They were hired to do a ‘deep clean’ on our home. It’s 2500sq ft and it was empty. That day they were cleaning we were starting to move in a few things that we didn’t want the movers to move for us such as some wine, champagne, wall hangings. We had about 5 boxes in there and some crates with alcohol; that’s it.
They charged over $ 700 to clean the house & this was a light mopping of the tile floors, wiping down the insides of drawers, etc. The actual cleaning was of average quality and not the deep clean we expected. We found grease on the fan above the stove, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, etc. after the cleaning. They did the windows and did a great job on those yet we found lots of dead bugs in the window sills after they left. It was a so so cleaning at best.
That day they were cleaning my wife was moving in the wine and some other breakables. She had her life long friend helping her. They placed a bottle of 2009 Dom Perignon on our wet bar and most of the other alcohol. Was it a great idea looking back? No, obviously not. It was hectic, we were just moving in to an empty house, looking back I would have let them clean and then moved in. We were really only moving some of our breakables into one room because we didn’t want the movers to do it.
Anyway I came home from work and went to the new house and noticed that the Dom I saw at lunch time was not on the wet bar. We asked her friend if she saw it when she left and she said no and she remembered it sitting on the wet bar when she was there.
We called the cleaning service owner. This is where my problem with them comes into play. The owner wasn’t present onsite during the cleaning. After we explained our situation the owner immediately went on the defensive and in a really nasty way. I understand being defensive but at the same time she could have said «I wasn’t at the job; I haven’t had these issues with these people before, let me talk to the person in charge that did your job, etc.» There was none of this. Instead she claimed «Two of the people there don’t even drink» as if someone who doesn’t drink might not rip off a $ 200 bottle of champagne. There were five people here and lets just say they didn’t all look as if they were on the straight and narrow.
The owner then tried to blame the pool guy. This pool boy maintained this pool for the previous residents for four years. Has had access to their home with a key for four years and has stolen nothing and has had a job at this pool company for four years with no incidents. Not only that but there were five cleaners in the house when he came in to get the pool key (we have a locking walk on auto cover he has to key into). He would have had to go to a different part of the house completely to even steal the bottle. The key was just inside the back door. The contract with the pool company was continuing with us so he was coming to clean the pool on a normal schedule.
After talking to the pool guy my wife called the owner back again. She was rude on the phone and passive aggressive and snarky. She obviously doesn’t have a care in the world that while her company was in our house that day with five people we lost an expensive bottle of champagne. She even had the gall to state «well do you have a photo of the bottle sitting on the wet bar to prove it was sitting there?» Seriously lady? Seriously? I saw it there. It was in the black decorative box that they come in new.
First her claim was the pool guy stole it. Then it was that 2 of 5 employees ‘don’t even drink’, then it was that she hires good people, then it was that we were lying altogether and could not prove it was sitting there. She asked if we could prove we even owned one. We have a receipt even (bought at Costco so they can look it up). We have witnesses that can attest that it was there. Ridiculous.
She obviously DOES NOT SCREEN EMPLOYEES WELL and doesn’t care about customers and needs to take a customer service class.
Funny, I posted about this incident on my Facebook and a friend who owns a business that this company used to clean messaged me and said they stopped using this company because they frequently have shady people in their employment.
Had the owner responded reasonably and been respectful she would not be getting this 1 star review right now. She could have had a stellar review if she’d handled this well.
Would you take your chances and use this company? The owner of the company is unprofessional and rude. Hope you never have any problems with her people.
