I had decided to get pizza from here and had placed my order online for pickup before I checked their Unilocal reviews and was fairly concerned by the time I came to pick up my order… if I hadn’t already placed my order, I would’ve backed out! Luckily enough, I had no issues at all! The pizzas were ready when I showed up. The girl working at the register was happy to answer my questions about how to bake the pizzas. Following their directions exactly, the pizzas came out perfectly and we ate it all! I would absolutely use them for take and bake pizza again.

I really like Zaw pizza and love their $ 30 wine deal. Who else is going to bring me a bottle of wine with my pizza? However, I have been really frustrated lately with how early they close. Just got off the phone with them right before 7:30 — and was told they were done delivering for the night. The last couple times I’ve tried to order from them, this has happened and I end up ordering from Pagliacci instead — with tremendously better customer service. Too bad they won’t deliver a bottle of wine with that Brooklyn Bridge!

Just tried for the first time tonight and got the $ 30 pizza, salad, wine deal. It was fantastic and we’re already discussing when we will get it again.

Zaw is my go-to for pizza takeout in Seattle. For $ 30, you can get a pizza, salad and a bottle of wine. Can’t get enough of the Cowardly Apricot and they have great options for vegetarian/gluten free/special dietary folks.

Stingy business… I parked outside their door to go to the Post Office before picking up a pizza on my way home. When I came back to drop stuff off before going inside(not 10 mins later) I found a menu on my car with the note of «parking for customers only, violators will be towed!» Now first thought you may have when reading this would likely be «well they probably thought you weren’t gonna come in»… Which I would too… Except the parking lot was 100% empty except my car and the butcher shop was closed. So they weren’t hard up for the space, they weren’t busy by any means, and I was gone for 10 mins to pick up a package. I sent a mail to them via FB and no response or apology for rude employees… Guess they feel they don’t need customers. I went to Pagliacci’s instead, suggest you do to until they learn to treat people nicely… especially during the Holidays.

Good take n bake pizza and a nice crew working there. Fresh, better quality ingredients than the typical shop. They have beer and wine. A little less expensive than your better than average pizza shop. Worth a try to make up your own mind… they delivery/you bake it.

3 stars for the quality and general deliciousness of this pizza. The ingredients are always fresh and they make a great effort to source local ingredients. The 2 pizzas for $ 27 deal makes the price pretty reasonable, again, considering the quality. My favorites include the ‘Shroom fest(a-mazing if you are a mushroom fan), the Marg and Rita(classic) and the Arugula Patch. They always have a fun seasonal option as well. As for the loss of two stars. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are regularly problems with orders… it always seems to be something(estimate 35−40% of the time). Most recently, the order was close to an hour behind what was quoted with little apology. Ingredients have been missing or substituted. I’ve called 15 minutes before closing and been told its too late to order… In summary: They have a really good thing going(quality, reasonable price) but the errors and late deliveries are kind of a bummer.

I am always skeptical about vegan pizza, so had very low expectations for ours — but it was AMAZING. Best no-cheese pizza I’ve ever had. We ordered the veg-head with extra olives and sundried tomatoes and a small sprinkle of Daiya and the crust cooked to perfection. Definitely a new favourite option for home pizzas when we don’t feel like cooking. Our friends ordered a cheesy pizza that also looked delicious.

My fiancé and I called Zaw, preheated the over to 425, and ordered the $ 30 pizza-salad-wine special. Amazing and delicious. The hunter gatherer pizza with arugula was so good and the perfect pear salad was awesome. We also had lots of left overs for lunch the next day. Zaw is the best take-n-bake in Seattle.

Zaw continues to be inattentive to the details. I’m not exaggerating when I say that 75% of my orders are delivered with some error. Yet again, just this evening, they delivered my «Arugula Patch» without the Arugula. As the name suggests, the Arugula is kind of important to this pizza. Took the delivery driver 20 additional minutes to return with the correct order. How hard can it be to double check every order before it goes out? C’mon guys, you’re making this much harder than it has to be.

Pros: gluten free pizza, fresh seasonal and local topping options. Also, lots of options if you don’t want pizza. parking lot! Cons: it gets really hot in there if you’re waiting for your pizza for more than a few minutes. I ordered 2 gluten free pizzas and both were pretty customized. Despite the numerous customizations, they got my order correctly! I also had to change my pickup time by an hour and they were really outstanding about it! These guys just want your pizza to be fresh as possible, and their gluten free crust is delicious! They make it themselves and it bakes into a nice, savory cracker-like crust. Very hearty and filling considering that it’s thin crust! Note about the gluten free pizza: cooking time is significantly less than regular crust! start checking the crust at 5 minutes. ours was slightly burnt at 7 minutes(and might have been burnt to ashes after 8 minutes)

its been a long time since i had a pizza since i found out i was allergic to wheat. Well I am so glad I stopped here. Their crust, although thin is very delicious. And what is in their red sauce? It it so yummy. I am upset that I didn’t ask for extra sauce. I went there starvingggg and didn’t realize it was a bake at home pizza place… which really bummed me out but I was already there so I went with it. I got the veg out dish… it was really done well. I have issues with mushrooms but they didn’t taste have that mushroom taste. I wish I saw their specialty pies, they had a summer veggie pie that I wish I had ordered. I guess there is always next time… which may be tomorrow!!!

Artisan pizza for the yuppie. I love good pizza; glorious amount of fresh toppings onto a crispy thin crust and you’ve sold my heart out. These are not your super greased out cheese pizzas of yonder years — you know cheap pre-made stuff. Zaw is similar to Papa John’s but with a healthier twist which I LOVE! And the combinations are amazing! Prices are as expected to be a bit higher than what you’d pay for a Domino’s or Pizza Hut — but lets remember you’re getting what you pay for here!

We like Zaw, especially the cute concept, but sometimes it seems a little pricey for the at times sparse toppings.

So, we’re big Papa Murphy’s fan due to the value and decent tasting pizza. Zaw is basically an upscale version of this. Take home, bake it, enjoy. We came in awhile back and ordered the«Hunter Gatherer» for my wife and I. The pizza was simply great. The toppings were all very fresh and we specifically liked the wild arugula topping after baking. This offered a good contrast in flavor. I’m excited to go back and try the rest! They also offer some great beer selections, too.

Zaw is a stand-by for me now. I think their half/half options are wonderful. Got the Veg Head and Greek last night, both delicious and gave me the combo of red sauce(Veg head) and pesto(Greek). I got the traditional crust(actually, fairly thin) and I would eat just about anything on the menu but for anyone with picky tastes or special needs(i.e. gluten-free and what have-you) — this is your place. There are not a lot of places that can deliver well on veggie pizza options, but this is one of them(I’m not a vegetarian but do like veggie and chicken pizza options). BTW, a size large fed four of us, two pieces each(as we pared with a salad). They are always very efficient, love that I can order only and even pay on receipt which takes away the tedious nature of entering all my credit card info into the system online.

Ordered online, and it was ready when I picked it up. Great tasting pizza and they can make it gluten free! They made it just as I requested half mushroom and half tailgate feast yum! The instructions on how to bake it are taped on the top and are accurate. Also got the ironman salad which came with a green colored dressing that was also delicious. The downside is the price, they are really good, but pricy.

My boyfriend is allergic to gluten and avoids pasteurized dairy, so Zaw is one of our go-to businesses for pizza. I used the website to order delivery once and it was a good experience, but normally prefer to just call ahead and pick it up. The employees have always been friendly and I rarely have to wait for my pizza when I arrive. I usually order pizzas with no meat toppings, and employees have pointed out that it’s cheaper to get a simpler pizza and add a topping instead of substituting something for the prosciutto or chicken. A nice bonus is that they have DRY Soda and some brand of root beer that my boyfriend likes, so we can always find a beverage we like here. We love the ingredients they pick and the seasonal offerings, and normally enjoy the the pizzas we get. The only complaint is that sometimes the pizzas look like little care was put into putting them together, so the toppings end up not distributed well(or there’s way too much«cheese» on the edges). Extra nice bonus: A couple of times now they’ve run out of large gluten-free crusts, so they gave us two medium pizzas for the price of a large. We never expect it, but are always happy when it happens.

They’ve got a really convenient location on Stone Way w/free parking, so I thought I’d give them a shot. Ordered a large :) Chicago Deli(see photo). It’s certainly small for the money(13 inches), but the crust is tasty and the ingredients look to be good quality toppings. I bit into it and instantly realized they changed its name when they adopted it – its birth name must have been«Salty Dog». Now, this isn’t a wet saltiness like anchovies or tasting the Pacific Ocean. No, it’s a dry saltiness that builds on your tongue, like the delivery driver took a shortcut through the Bonneville Salt Flats, then did wheelies on SDOT’s piles of leftover road salt afterwards. At this point, the Papadopoulos’ chain’s pizza is looking tastier as well as much cheaper to me. However, maybe it’s just this one flavor of Zaw. I’ll try another sometime before totally writing Zaw out of my will. BTW, they DO have a good wine selection and yummy-looking(if expensive) salads.
