History

Established in 2006.

This practice was established in the 1970s by Dr Megale. Dr Duringer took over in 1994. He eventually retired and Dr Christian took over in 2006.

Business Owner

Katharine Christian graduated from Tufts University in Boston in 2004. She is committed to life-​long learning and attends many continuing education courses that exceed the state’s requirements. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Washington State Dental Association.

Dr. Katharine Christian is a firm believer that healthy attractive smiles can make a big impact in her patients’ lives. Her main interest is family dentistry and creating safe dental home for her patients. Her goal is to provide her patients with affordable quality-​oriented cosmetic dental care.

Originally form a small town on the central coast of California, Dr Christian moved to Seattle after Boston and fell in love with the area. She is proud to have moved to West Seattle with her two daughters and her husband. Dr Christian enjoys science fiction, swimming, reading, and knitting.

I visited Dr. Park at West Seattle Family Dentistry for a emergency filling. The staff got me in at 10:30 a.m. Finished up in hour and out the door.
Dr. Park has impressed me as a doctor of dentistry in his skillful work, excellent communication and listening closely to my needs.
When was the last time your dentist called to check in you post dental work? Well HE just called me to inquire how I was doing! I’ve found my dentist. Thank you Dr. Park and staff

Dr. Christian and her staff are simply fantastic. They’re professional, caring, easy-​going, and informative. i moved to China a year ago, and Dr. Christian and her hygienists helped me plan out good dental care while abroad. They make it easy for me to pop in when I’m back in Seattle for a check-​up, and just make the whole process of dental care so inviting that i always leave their offices wishing the visit wasn’t over so soon. If you don’t live in West Seattle, the drive is worth it, if you want really professional, friendly dental care.

Dr. Christian is a wonderful gal doing dentistry in West Seattle. I had to get a few things done this year — fill an older cavity plus a new one (eek), in addition to a cleaning. She’s young, nice and energetic, and her staff are sweethearts that really know what they’re doing. I like that she made SURE her work felt comfortable in my mouth, and kept at it until I said it was right. Annie, who’s in charge of payment, is wonderful.
The office is clean, organized and comfortable. In the chair, you actually look out to a garden! It’s nice for day-​dreaming on a rainy day, even if you are in a dentist chair. :)

Dr Christian is a great Dentist. She cares about each of us that go to see her. I love the fact that she is not of the power thou the pain group that some Dentist seem fall into. I tell all my friends they should go see her.
