I have been here a handful of times now and rarely leave less then frustrated! If it’s a salad bar you’re after, walk a few blocks to Market Fresh for a better price and uncomplicated service. I would especially caution against ordering the assembled food. Most recently, I arrived 20 minutes before lunch to beat the crowds and ended up standing there for 20 minutes while my sandwich was made after staff restocked everything in the bar. Despite having several options on the menu, the only side offered on the screen was jalapeño slaw. I ordered the chicken bahn mi, sans jalapeño, so asked at the counter for a different side. I was told they found chips and would make my order with chips. Fifteen minutes later I have a box full of jalapeño slaw. To their credit, they gave me chips after I protested, but it’s a shame to wait that long for a mediocre sandwich and have to wave someone down again. The bread on was too dense and chewy for a bahn mi and the vegetables did not have any flavor. Portion size is good and the ingredients do seem fresh. The checkout stations aggressively upsell by moving the ‘No Thanks’ buttons to different locations. Good luck getting in and out in a reasonable period of time, even before the rush!

This has been my favorite lunch spot for a while now, and it definitely deserves 5 stars. Food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff is very friendly. Never have to wait all that long, so that’s always a plus during lunch time. Give this place a shot!

Excellent spot for lunch. They had a huge variety of dishes to choose from. There is a salad bar with an excellent assortment of accoutrements. There is a hot bar where you can pick out hot dishes and meals to go. I actually got the chicken Banh mi sandwich and my friend got the chicken ranch avocado sandwich. We were just so impressed on how quickly they were made and how fresh all the food was. The vegetables taste like they just were picked from the farm today. Crunchy carrots, flavorful and juicy cucumbers and the baguette was extremely soft, warm and tasted like it just came out of the oven. It wasn’t crumby, hard or stake. I couldn’t get over how fresh the bread was. They also didn’t overload the sandwiches with sauce. It was the perfect ratio. The chicken was a little dry but again, very fresh, recently cooked and full of flavor. The sandwiches come with a side. We got the balsamic potato salad and I’d highly recommend getting that as your side. The portions were extremely large. I plan on eating the second half for dinner. Overall… This is a great, quick, fresh spot for lunch. Didn’t feel overly stuffed or gross afterwards. Very healthy options. They also have gluten free options if you’re in need of that.

This place is a great option for breakfast or lunch during a busy work day. It is really easy to pick up something that suites your needs from their hot food bar or cold salad bar. Trying to keep it paleo? This place is great as you can select what you need and pricing is very cost effective. I’ve only tried to buffet style options, but I’ve heard great things about their baked potatoes and other items that you can special order. It really deserves a 5-star rating because the entire staff is super friendly and helpful. They definitely treat their regulars right so I would encourage everybody to check this place out if your looking for fast, tasty and affordable breakfast/lunch options.

For not being very busy around 1 pm on a Friday, the place seemed a little more chaotic than it needed to be – on both sides of the counter. At least several of the customers milling about(myself included) found the self-service kiosks to be a little confusing(there are 3 locations). It would have been nice to be greeted and asked if there were any questions. My cherry chipotle BBQ pork sandwich was ok, but not great.

Confusing order system for a sandwich and even more confusing how to know when your food is ready. Perhaps the food bar would have been a better experience. They had just opened so this may also improve with time.

This place is average as far as quick downtown lunch spots go– if not for the convenient location to my office and healthy salad bar, I’d knock it down to 2 stars. Not worth going out of your way for. The sandwiches are ok but would benefit from more flavor– so far I’ve tried the turkey cranberry and black bean sandwiches and wouldn’t re-order either. The salad bar is pretty decent and best reason to go, but be forewarned about the frozen avocado slices. You can’t tell they’re frozen when you add to your salad, but when you bite into them it’s pretty unpleasant. This has happened to me and a couple of my coworkers on different occasions, so not a one-off experience.

I came for a weekday lunch and it cost me about $ 14 for food from the hot bar. Granted, I took too much, and I couldn’t finish it all. If I had better judgment, I think I would have taken less and it would have cost me more like $ 11. They had pot roast, cherry BBQ chicken, cauliflower, broccoli and mashed potato/sweet potato. It was all so well made, fresh, and mostly local. I was impressed by their salad bar, although I did not buy anything from there. They seem to be wheat and dairy sensitive, which I appreciate. I’ll come back next time I’m looking for lunch off 2nd.

Two parts to this review. Food-wise, this place is great. Definitely higher quality ingredients than most downtown lunch spots. A bit on the pricey side, but that’s to be expected. Great spot for breakfast; with either hot food or made to order breakfast burritos and sandwiches. For lunch, their sandwiches are huge and very good. Their technology in the ordering process is slick and easy. Clearly this saves them time and money having to have a dedicated person taking orders. Very smart. My issue… the owner/mgr. that has decided that his office is half the seating area in the place. There isn’t much to begin with; basically about 10 bar stools, five on either side of the entrance facing the street. The five on the left are basically rendered useless to patrons because the owner/mgr has his laptop computer, and all his paperwork occupying much of the space. Plus his power cords stretch across where you would potentially walk to sit down, further detracting you from even bothering. This is a small thing, but I find it very annoying and totally unprofessional. Nobody wants to see you keeping the books right out where people would like to sit. Perhaps you should’ve planned better during the build-out and made an office.

Hello new default lunch spot! They have a paleo friendly pay-by-the-ounce hot food bar AND salad bar, both of which are very tasty. Lunch ends up costing me 9 – 11 dollars. Not much seating at all, so I usually end up taking my food back to my office to eat. If you’re paying by credit card, there’s a self checkout station; if you’ve got cash, you have to go put your food in the scale in order to signal you’re ready to check out. Seriously, this food is super good. I haven’t asked if it’s totally paleo OK, but it seems legit. Today i had chicken with tomatillo sauce, curried cauliflower, and sweet potato mash.

Stopped in off the commuter bus at Second and Seneca in beautiful Seattle. Ordered a fresh build your own breakfast sandwich from the kiosk and coffee: Egg white, pravalone cheese, walla walla baked potatoes, and crushed guacamole on croissant. It was great. The counter folks were friendly and pleasant. I am coming back

Speaking about the salad bar only. This is my second and last time getting anything from the salad bar. Their lettuce is NOT fresh and tastes and smells like it came from a bag. Arugula, terrible, on and on. The hard boiled egg was ok though. This place touts organic and fresh and prices reflect that but the food sure doesn’t seem like it.

This place is great. I love the make your own salad bar, the prices are reasonable and you don’t have to talk to anyone to pay. What else can you ask for?

All I am saying is its about time! Trying to find a place that has good healthy food is really hard downtown. I love how this place puts in so much thought and care into not only their menu but the quality and taste of their food. They go all out with making fresh dressing! The men and women here are super stars working hard each day to make everything fresh. My favorite is the salmon filet. But I really love their chicken noodle too its so chucky and meaty! The salad bar is exceptional with both cold and hot foods. I am hooked… I’m lucky it’s just a hop and a skip away from my office. Happy food = happy people!!! =)

I really like this place. After three visits, I realize their strength is in their hot food bar and salad bar. Nice fresh ingredients, super healthy without sacrificing flavor. The salad bar features things like avocado chunks, poached chicken, *actually fresh* in-season strawberries and blueberries and yummy hummus. The prices are competitive with other hot food/salad bar places downtown and infinitely better, in my opinion. The only reason for one docked star is I don’t love their sandwiches. Although I do still need to try their breakfast sandwiches, soups, and baked potatoes. The added benefit of fast self-checkout machines is awesome. No human contact? Yay!

So excited to have another healthy food option downtown! Great salad bar. Long list of sandwiches. Healthier beverages to choose from(kombucha, stump town cold press), quinoa, etc. super fast self checkout.

This place was fantastic. My wife and I stopped in for lunch after visiting the SAM nearby, and our expectations were more than exceeded. The hot and cold salad bar were superb, especially the roast beef and pork tenderloin. Prices were very reasonable, food was fresh and delicious. We were even offered free cookies from the owner. If we lived in town we would definitely come here all the time. LOVEDIT!

I really want to like this place, as it’s in my building and the manager is really nice. But so far, I’ve eaten the chicken banh mi, an egg sandwich and the Thai chicken salad and found each to be seriously underwhelming and overpriced. Aside from the overly thick bread, lack of zesty sauce and minimal chicken, this place should know that a bahn mi in Seattle cannot be $ 10. A banh mi is a $ 4 sandwich, and many in the city are so delicious as to be worth far more. The egg sandwich was a microwaved egg patty on an english muffin with ham, for nearly $ 5. Price aside, it just wasn’t that great. Finally, today’s Thai chicken salad was a bummer– the chicken tasted like it belonged on an airline and the dressing was far too sticky and sweet. Sandwiches on platters delivered to our office have been too bready, dry, and without condiments. I haven’t tried the salad bar yet. As I said, I really hope this place pulls it together and succeeds. It’s super convenient and has some good concepts. I’ve heard people say good things about the hot food, and the grab and go case looks like it has potential. I could just be ordering the wrong things, but so many misses in a row are disappointing, especially at this price point.

This is a new restaurant that opened up in my office building on the 1st floor and I’m a fan of it! I’ve only been here a few times, but each time has been super convenient with easy to use touchscreens to order sandwiches, wraps, burgers, and soups. They even have a hot food buffet that is priced per oz as well as a salad bar in a similar capacity. Both of the times I’ve been here have been for breakfast, opting for a breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito. I liked the sandwich better than the burrito, but it’s nice to have options. Prices are cheap, place is clean, and service is convenient. I’d recommend if you’re in a hurry and need a good meal.
