I’ve been walking by this place for almost a year before deciding to stop in and have some work done. I took in one item to be repaired and 4 items to be framed. I’m thrilled with the results of everything. The woman who helped me, Carol(& I think the owner) was so patient and offered up some great suggestions for all of my projects. Everything looks beautiful and was finished in a very short period of time. There are a few interesting items I noticed on display(or perhaps other people’s jobs?) while I was there that gave me some ideas for future projects. I’m definitely going to be using them again.

Very attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. I called them for an estimate and directions, and they were patient and pleasant with me. I came in with a small custom framed picture with broken glass, and it was not only beautifully and carefully fixed within five minutes, but they also glued back on a broken piece of the frame and didn’t charge me any extra, plus they fitted it with a special UV glass that preserves antique photos and insisted on wrapping it all up for my walk back home– all for a very reasonable price. They really care about quality and preservation of my photos, and took the time to explain to me what they were doing. I really appreciate how they(the couple who runs the shop) are so amicable and down-to-earth. I’d be happy to trust them with my precious family antiques again.

Don’t go to this store! I had the worst customer experience there. I have never been treated so badly and unfairly as a customer in my life! It was so bad that the sole reason I signed up for Unilocal was to write a complaint about this store so everyone knows how bad it is. I walked into the store last Friday on 12÷21÷07 to look for a frame for a picture I have. It’s supposed to be a gift for my boyfriend, and it’s in an odd size. I needed to get it done that night because he was leaving for home in 2 days. Having trouble to find a frame that fits my picture, the store suggests making a customized frame for $ 25 dollars. I went ahead to go with the suggestion, and spent time to pick out a frame. Unfortunately, many frames were out of stock so I was stuck with a thick silver frame. That wasn’t the worst part. I came back to the store after 20 minutes later to pick up my customized new frame, and there was a scratch on the frame, and my picture didn’t fit. The top and the bottom got cut off. At this point, I was disappointed because the whole point of having a custom made frame is to accomodate my odd size picture. A frame that didn’t fit had no use to me. The store suggested me to go to kinko’s to shrink down my picture, which I found unreasonable. But I was being nice and said that I’d go home and try to reduce this picture, but if it still doesn’t fit, then i would need a refund. The store denied a refund and said that they couldn’t resell this frame because it was customized for me. All of a sudden, this woman in the shop came over to interrupt my conversation with another sales assistant, and told me that I would just have to go somewhere else to get my frame. She said that she didn’t have time for someone like me, and asked me to leave. I said: you have to be kidding, this frame is not what I asked for. She replied: this is exactly what you asked for. I wanted to go on to explain myself, but she cut me off and started asking me to leave. I told her that this is not a fair customer experience, and all she said to me was: see you later, allegator. I was penalized for their mistake and I found that the most unfair thing in the world. It was HORRIFIC! DON’T EVERGOTHERE. Customers do not deserve to be treated like this. WORSTEXPERIENCEEVER!
