U Way Grocery

This is the best corner grocery store in the U District for sure. The family that owns it is super nice, and they have a great selection and competitive prices.

Since the new owners are there, they are very friendly, and very hard working. They are really nice people, and have very high integrity. I always like their various cool ramen noodle selection, like unique noodles that you can’t find at other grocery stores. Also, I like that they have various world beer selection, as well. I really like the store, and I always feel cozy there. It is definitely a family friendly store in the U-​district!!!
And…now!!! Whoa! Watch your mouth, Zachary K. I totally do not agree with you. Are you talking about Rap Snack? Oh, porn? What are you talking about? They were gone a long time ago, like more than 6 – 7 years ago. LOL! They’ve got new owners and management, and those porns and junky stuff are gone. Hello? I understand if someone in Seattle writes a review, but you are in San Francisco, CA and you write about Seattle store? Hello? Were you in Seattle a decade ago or something?

you know… a lil junky corner store, full of your favorite corner store finds: rap snacks, boxed wine, scarface posters, and a whole corner area for porn… of course, remember all you non seattleites — you cant buy liquor here. only at special state run stores…
and even if you come in here at least two or three times a weekl for three years and every time say hello, how are you, to the husband and wife the run the place — they somehow manage to act as if you are a total stranger ever time! incredible!
