Description

Specialties

True Scapes is a Seattle innovator in landscape architecture, landscape design, and installation. Specializing in modern design and new construction, True Scapes also brings cutting edge style to more traditional arenas, ranging from complete remodels to isolated landscape updates.

Servicing modern spec builders and several development companies, we’re familiar with providing a cost-to-value ratio satisfying both the requirements for outstanding design as well as a positive return on investment. Whether preparing a property for market, or working with established residential clients for a custom long term environment, True Scapes has the know-how and experience for the best possible outcome.

Typical projects include site inspection, development of working architectural drawings, appropriate permit acquisitions, materials estimating and procurement, field work and follow up. We strive to take the typical worry out of projects, and to maintain above bar services in and around Seattle.

History

Established in 2012.

The precise coordination of the many facets and elements of construction is vital, and True Scapes’ owner Joseph Garel keeps things in tight order. His background in construction and development accounting helps maintain a level of stasis in True Scapes, and avoids the mismanagement that can lead to disaster for everyone.

True Scapes also come from good company. Working with other successful and prolific design and development teams means that the True Scape team has learned from some of the best in the industry. In 2012 we have focused mainly on the growth of our company. Meeting new people and making new friends.

Meet the Business Owner

Joseph G.

Business Owner

Joseph Garel isn’t comfortable standing still. Instead he continues to climb the ladder of interest and passion, where he’s found a comfortable resting place in True Scape Design. As an accountant and construction project manager he grew interested in hands-on construction management, where dealing with sub contractors and clients added excitement to the mix.

Of the many disciplines involved in building, it was the land and the people who worked it that he felt most comfortable with. The environment is frenzied, and involves numerous entities taking part in a growth spurt attached to Seattle’s economic boom. Joe speaks the many languages required to successfully navigate such an environment, including creative, business and client relations.
