Tram’s Salon

It’s pretty easy to get a walk-​in appointment. I haven’t had the luck to get Tram but I get a lot of attention and precise cut for a ¹⁄₃ of the price I was paying at my previous salon!

Tran is really sweet and honestly, you can’t beat her prices. I got a balayage touchup here and she did a great job at getting out the brassy color and replacing it with a honey brown. I love that when I left, my hair didn’t feel fried either.
She gave me a nice cut with layers, just as I asked and really took her time, even though she was totally swamped. I never felt rushed and I didn’t feel like she was rushing through it either. She also has an adorable little dog!

Teng was AMAZING! I spent 10+ years with the same boring long hair as I was scarred for life as a kid with a boy cut. I went to Seattle on a whim and decided to chop it off… no regrets! Loving my new short/​mid hair, I should’ve done this earlier!
The whole experience was great. I walked in and waited only 5min before Teng whisked me away. She was very warm, professional, and amazing. I showed her 2 hair styles I wanted a hybrid of and she gave me exactly what I wanted! I have thick hair and lots of it, she was a pro at layering it.
I’ve received tons of compliments on my hair cut and the cut FEELS amazing! It simplified my life, super easy to take care of, and looks fantastic.
A haircut + style is $ 30, just the haircut alone was less that $ 20.

The first haircut I had here was fine. Prices are great. The second time, I asked for layers and to have about 1 – 2 inches total cut off. Halfway through the haircut, I started getting nervous because she wouldn’t stop clipping. I politely told her I thought that was good, but she continued to cut. Overall I probably had 5 inches off and it’s taken me a few months to get it to where I wanted to be. It’s upsetting when customers aren’t listened to, regardless of what the stylist believes to look good :(

Love Tram’s salon. I always get a nice shape-​up/​trim for my long, layered hair at an affordable price. I can always get a prompt appointment; actually, each time I have been able to walk-​in and get service rather than booking weeks in advance like other salons. I can tell they have a ton of regulars which speaks to their great service.
Tram did a beautiful balayage treatment on my hair. It was affordable and Tram went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable during the treatment. The color was flattering and just what I wanted. She styled it really nicely for me.
The salon had a very friendly and warm atmosphere and Tram’s cute dog Leo provided great entertainment. Overall, I love this business and recommend it to others.

Great salon with stylists who are just as friendly and skilled as Tram herself! Tram really listens to what you want to do with your hair and is incredibly thorough. And magically at the same time, she’s very fast so you’re in and out within the hour (for the usual wash, cut, style). Prices are much cheaper than I’m used to for women’s haircuts in the Seattle area too! (less than $ 30) Definitely make an appointment though as they get full at all times of the day.

My whole family has used Tram and her associates for over six years, we love her and her salon. Consistently kind, good technique, terrific value for your money, and very efficient service. We’ve used her haircut services, foil coloring, waxing services — all terrific. I recommend her to all my friends.

Tried this salon for the first time today. Vicky was very friendly and did a great job with my cut. Price was very reasonable and there was no wait as I went in mid-​afternoon. Look forward to making this my regular salon going forward.

Went back and Tram cut my hair this time. Love her detail orientation and friendliness. We now live in Belltown but insist on driving to West Seattle for our cuts.

Based off of some reviews, thought I’d try this place. What a horrible idea — never going here again!!! I wanted a trim — long layers — with only about a half an inch off the length (my hair was below my boobs). I left with at least 4 inches gone and completely uneven layers. I had to go to my usual hair gal to fix it, and she couldn’t even make it right unless she were to chop it to a bob. I am so angry and disappointed with this cut, as it takes a while to grow hair out. I can’t even curl it anymore, the layers are so uneven. Don’t waste your time going here unless you want your hair butchered!!! By the way, I’ve never written a review before. I’m so angry, I felt I needed to spread the word.

I have been going to Tram’s Salon for over two years now. I am always pleased with the outcome. I don’t make appointments for haircuts anymore and have had pretty much everyone there do my cuts. I have never been disappointed. I love this Salon.

Thumbs up to Tram’s. I am so pleased to use a local business and really appreciate the extended hours that she and her team offer. Should I ever move, I would be willing to drive back to West Seattle for her services.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Tram! She is AMAZING! Great color and cut… so inexpensive. Have been going to Vidal Sassoon for over 5 years but wanted to try something local and save some money. Am THRILLED. Can’t believe my good luck. Excellent quality and value. SO HAPPY!

This place is a hit or miss. I used to go here regularly because the haircuts were of good quality and affordable. This time however I must have done something to really piss these ladies off because they let 4 people go ahead of me without appointments, had me waiting for over an hour for a 5 minute haircut that looks hideous after being very specific in what I wanted. Today was definitely a miss. I’ll not be going there again because there is no consistency in the haircuts or the customer service.

Say no more! I love Trams Salon. I called in to book an appointment originally with Tram herself. But as you know she’s quite the busy lady. So I got Tam instead. And she did her thing. One of the most polite women and had very great ideas for my hair. Originally I wanted a certain color but there insight made me think twice, and I love that! People that know what there doing, make me feel more confident with the outcome. Love love love! I live too far from her salon but I will definitely be back!

I really Love Tram’s! The team is great and they have great ideas on hair! I’ve been coming for many years and the staff is always right on with everything! I love the time they take to find just that right color — and Tram is always involved. Make sure to call for an appointment — it can get busy… but worth it! Cheers.

I’ve been coming to Tram’s for about 2 years now, and I’ve never been disappointed with the experience. They do a great guy’s cut, and at an inexpensive price to boot. Located on California, so it’s central and close. But not directly in the Junction, so parking has never really been a problem for me. Everyone’s nice and positive, and you always leave having had an overall great visit.

I had a very positive experience here today. I called at 11ish on a Saturday morning for a cut and color. They said there was no wait and to come in now if I wanted. I rushed over and they immediately took me in and started the color. Tram and my stylist were very sweet and they did a great job. Tram even bought me a cup of coffee from Starbucks! Everyone in there is so incredibly nice. As for my cut, I got some long layers with side bangs and it came out great, as did the color. Just what I wanted and I couldn’t believe how inexpensive it was at the end. I will be back!

Tram and the rest of the team are amazing. I don’t trust anyone else to do my hair! From ombré to baylayage and even just a simple haircut, this salon does it all with fantastic quality at a reasonable price. Even got my boyfriend to start coming here! Make sure to call for an appointment though, the salon gets busy really quick.

Great place to get a haircut if you don’t mind the long wait; i think both times i was here i waited almost an hour before i got my cut. the barbers here do a terrific job and for $ 13 (tax included) you just can’t beat the price!
Interestingly enough, the first time i came here the barber that cut my hair was complaining that tram, her boss, was giving her crap for using up all her lunch break instead of coming right back when she’s done eating. also that her pay was bad, blah blah blah… not sure if she should be telling me all that stuff but if it helps her vent and give me a good haircut, im all ears!
The second time i came here i was actually waiting in line at westside barber shop cuz i wanted to try somewhere different, but as i was waiting, i was scared away by the dramatically opposite experiences that ppl had here, and the guys that were leaving were cashing out $ 28 – 35 bucks for their haircuts! no thanks… Tram cut my hair the second time and it was perfect!
This place seemed really family friendly as well. always kids running around in there if they weren’t busy crying in the barber seat.
