The dry cleaning is great but the alterations are the BEST! I would trust Tanya with any alteration, even intricate ones. She has shortened sleeves of tailored jackets from the top of the sleeve, to avoid ruining details on the sleeve bottom, so that you can never tell they have been taken apart and put back together. Not only that, but she works quickly and charges very reasonable prices. She has a good sense of fit and is confident and correct about what can and cannot be done to a particular garment.

I’m all about customer service. There are plenty of dry cleaning /​seamstress services in downtown. When I worked in the building across the street (1001 4^th Ave, 98 154) there was another shop in there that did a job and was always friendly.
My first experience here, I dropped off a shirt to fix a small rip on the side. The lady asked for my name and told me it’ll be ready later on that day. Didn’t even ask for a phone number, which is fine. I thought she just has incredible memory and she’ll remember me when I came back.
When I came back, she did remember me and when I reached for my credit card to pay for it, she said «Don’t give me a credit card!» I laughed because I thought anyone being that rude has to be joking right?
From the look on her face, I knew she wasn’t joking. So I said it says on your door that you take credit cards, so she took my card to her credit card machine and she yelled around the corner, «I TOLD YOU not to bring credit card! This is such a small amount!»
BTW. she did not tell me to bring cash. I remember leaving thinking it was odd all she asked me for was my name. I remember she didn’t make any small talk and kept our conversation to the minimum.
Well anyway. I’m sorry my $ 5.45 wasn’t enough business for her. I will make sure from now on, I take my business across the street even though I no longer work in that building. I would have gladly paid her credit card transaction fee to not be yelled at first thing in the morning but she didn’t offer that option.

We were in town and used this dry cleaners. We had a small bag of clothes we needed washed and folded. They weighed the clothes and told us it was 58 pounds, which is outrageous. We had them go ahead and wash it since we were leaving the next day for out of town. The total was over $ 100! We stopped a week later and had the same bag full of clothes washed again in another city. This time we were told the bag was 22 pounds and the same amount of clothes were washed for $ 30! Also, we were missing an item from our load and had to call them to get it back.

I have been taking my clothes here for alterations for two years and have had nothing but excellent experiences.
I am petite but have a pretty big butt, and Tanya knows exactly how to tailor jeans and pants to fit flatteringly. She has hemmed pants, fixed sleeves, and taken in waists. Due to my short height but curvy frame, a lot of clothes just don’t fit well; it only takes Tanya one try to make them fit perfectly. She also does alterations very quickly– usually only a few days, if that. And her prices are very reasonable as well.
What promted this review was a recent experience I had with my weding dress. I took it to a nearby seamstress with extensive wedding dress experience and a great Unilocal rating. I wated for an hour and finally, she pinned my dress and we discussed the changes that needed to be made. However, 30 minutes after I’d left, she called my cell phone and said she couldn’t make the changes after all. She had decided, apparently, that she didn’t like wotking with this kind of fabric (lace) and that it wouldn’t look good if the dress was altered.
Two days ago, I picked up the dress and took it to Tanya. She’d always demonstrated an inherent understanding of how things should fit, so I trusted her. And I’m so glad I did! I didn’t even have to ask for what I wanted – she looked at the dress on me and suggested the very alterations that I had begged the other seamstress to do. And she did the alterations in TWO DAYS– and there were several complicated things it needed– and the dress fit beautifully. I tried it on and hugged her, unable to resist.
Even if I work somewhere other than downtown in the future, I will always bring my clothes to Tanya. She’s amazing and personal and does great, reasonably priced work.

), my long coat would be $ 16.99. I was billed over $ 30 because it had leather sleeves. I didn’t see anything on their website that tacked on an additional fee for leather. The fact that I wasn’t quoted a price when I dropped my garment off raised a red flag but I should of made sure I had gotten that information before I left so that is my fault. I was surprised at the price but the lady who serviced me was very friendly when I dropped it off and when I picked it up so I can’t throw a fit.
Their website also noted that they deliver but when I dropped my coat off, the friendly lady told me that it would have to be set up on Facebook. That’s a little inconvenient for someone who doesn’t have a Facebook profile …
Regardless, I’m not going to down this place because first off, I do not usually get my clothing dry cleaned so I’m not versed in the logic of dry cleaning pricing. Maybe someone who dry cleans often may have not been surprised by the additional cost I received. Plus, I received great customer service which is hard to come by now and days.
NOTE: They are located off of 2^nd Ave and Marion St (behind the Wells Fargo building) and they do accept credit cards just not all of them.

I will avoid this place at all cost. Just when you thought you can trust a business, Tony Cleaners will take your wallet to the cleaners when you least expect it – or when you don’t pay attention to your bill.
I’ve been bringing the same work shirts and pants here for a year now. Recently, I noticed that the costs vary for the same clothes. Shirts would be laundered and ironed (costs $ 2 each) at one time, then had to be dry cleaned (costs $ 6) the next.
When my bill had doubled twice in a row, I had it. I asked the lady to specifically identify which shirts were dry cleaned. She pointed to 6 out of 9 shirts. Here’s the catch — all shirts are from the same brand, same make and same cotton blend. Lady, shirts don’t grow silk over time. When asked for an explanation, she said some has to be ironed by hand. Really now? A lie starts with one yarn. And this place is full of it.
I complained. She apologized, but ran my credit card anyway for the padded costs. No business can last on quick profit alone. NEVER. AGAIN.

Tony is the best and her work is spot on and quick. I don’t go anywhere else for my drycleaning/​alteration needs!

Seriously, just wow.$ 17.95 to fix a big seam pull on the outside of my left shoulder on my new red winter coat. And then inside the same coat the liing on the left arm was tearing off too all only in a day. Loco!
The lady working at Tony’s is some sort of sewing goddess, to be sure. A co-​worker had a coat shortened for under $ 30, so this place is oddly reasonable.
They’re tucked away from the street, underneath Sound Soups on the 2^nd Ave side of the building (conflicts with the address, I know but humor me okay?).

Quick and high-​quality service! I have used this business for clothing alterations. They also offer «eco» dry-​cleaning. It’s a little hidden, on the 2^nd Ave. side of the Wells Fargo tower near ATM on the corner of 2^nd and Madison.
