We can build custom crates for any items and ship to any location. We also offer specialized services such as piano moving,(spinet to grand), pool or billiard tables. For those items to large to be brought into the home we can utilize block & tackle or crane service to complete the delivery. «Finally, storage services are provided in our conveniently located warehouse in the Georgetown neighborhood in south SODO».

TLC Moving & Storage Inc. can assist you when you relocate. Whether its a small move (apt. to apt.) or large household, we will provide you with a smooth transition to your new home or office. With our experienced crew we can pack and load your possessions to insure that your fragile or valuable items arrive safely. If you choose to pack on your own, we can provide all the cartons you need free of charge as long as they are returned. Cartons are also available for purchase.

History

Established in 1983.

I opened TLC Moving & Storage to serve the Seattle Interior Design community with warehousing and delivery of fine home furnishing to their customers. Like any new business, it took time to build a steady clientele, but by offering professional and competitive services we established ourselves, and sustained this business for nearly three decades. Almost immediatley we were asked to move whole households and this service became a major part of what we do. I am fully licensed, insured and a permitted mover with the State of Washington (HG-​42 102).

I started the business when I was 26 years old. Having worked in moving and storage, off and on since I was 18, I knew there was an opportunity for a mover who was committed to offering customers unfalling professional service. I learned from my own experience that the difference between a good company and a bad one was when something went wrong or if there was damage and as to how long it took (if ever) to get rectified to the customers satisfaction. Our goal naturally is to not damage anything but if the unfortunate incident does occur we will always take care of the problem as quickly as possible. I guess what I’m saying is I stand behind every thing we do (I’m usually there) and guarantee our work.
