Tilted Thunder’s goal is to empower women through the sport of banked track roller derby.

History

Established in 2008.

With so many flat track roller derby leagues in the Seattle area, there were a handful of Seattle skaters who wished to bring banked track roller derby to the Pacific Northwest. Why should Southern Californians and Texans have all the fun?!? Seattle deserved to experience the uniqueness and nostalgia of banked track roller derby, too!

After much fundraising and hard work, Tilted Thunder acquired a warehouse, track plans, and building materials. Tilted Thunder skaters, refs, and volunteers then built their Kitten Traxx banked track. Our track design follows the same track plans of the other modern tracks in the United States: L.A. Derby Dolls, San Diego Derby Dolls, Arizona Derby Dames, Orange County Rollergirls, and Sugartown Rollergirls.

Now, TTRB bouts at Comcast Arena in Everett! 2014 kicks off our 4^th bouting season!
